On this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” anchor Chris Wallace asked White House adviser Pam Bondi if President Donald Trump understood a free and fair press covers both sides of the story.
Wallace said, “President Trump tweeted late yesterday that we, Fox News Sunday, should not even be doing an interview with James Comey or with Adam Schiff.”
He added, “My question, Pam, is does the president understand that it’s the duty of a free and fair press to cover both sides of the story?”
Bondi said, “Of course he does. I think he so tired of hearing all these lies and frankly. I’m going to disagree with the president right now because I’m glad you had James Comey on because you caught him in multiple misrepresentations.”
Last week, Wallace said, “I believe President Trump is engaged in the most direct, sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history.”
Hard to believe that @FoxNews will be interviewing sleazebag & totally discredited former FBI Director James Comey, & also corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff. Fox is trying sooo hard to be politically correct, and yet they were totally shut out from the failed Dem debates!

No one understands the role of the press because it’s completely lost in hate and partisan politics.
In my lifetime, the role of the press has generally been to guide and shape public opinion against Republicans and conservatives. More specifically, since November 2016, it has been to aid and abet the Socialist Party nominally led by Nancy Pelosi in overturning the election of President Donald Trump. (Of course, Leftist Chris Wallace understands this completely and plays his part to perfection).
What role is the press? Sure isn’t due diligence in reporting. It’s opinion hating in the falsehood of reporting.
Real, truly gleaming idiots often convince themselves that everyone else is an idiot.
A free press?? They gave up that designation when they went all in on protecting Democrats and slandering Republicans.

We don’t have a free press in this country. Major media is owned by people that have an agenda and money and or political power. Seldom does the major media even pretend to be impartial, it is all a joke.
I would say it is the press that does not understand the role of the press.
Wallace doesn’t. He thinks it is to lie and propagandize politics.
