On Wednesday, “Fox News Sunday,” anchor Chris Wallace reacted to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s Senate Judiciary Committee testimony by suggesting the FBI deserved the benefit of the doubt.
Wallace said, “Can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there was a political bias there? No, but it sure does stink when you have three different teams, and they are all pushing the same way, and it’s all for investigating and surveilling Carter Page.”

If William Barr's DOJ secured a FISA warrant on him he'd be on the air 24/7 calling for Barr and Trump to be tried, convicted and executed within a week ... even if the DOJ was 100% truthful in the FISA application process.

When Chris Wallace says “mean tweets by Trump don’t mean he colluded with Russia, obstructed justice, or should be impeached” I’ll believe his sudden desire to give the benefit of the doubt isn’t driven by a biased agenda.

Chris Wallace never misses an opportunity to totally miss the point. Bias in this case is a ‘given’.
Good point, Chris. I’m sure there’s a perfectly logical reason why they fabricated material to get the FISA warrant. Sure, one reason to fabricate material is to get a warrant to investigate something for which there is no evidence just because you want cover to spy. But surely there are other reasons, just come up with a few and tell us about them Chris.
Yet, the hypocrite never gave Trump the benefit of the doubt.

The libs and media (redundant) main claim now is that the (low) standard at the FBI for predication was met, thus the investigation was justified and not a “witch hunt” as Trump has claimed.
The very first comment from AG Barr was that he disagreed with the IG’s conclusion about predication.
Think logically. Horowitz only knows and his report only reflects what DOJ and FBI employees told him. “No documentary or testimonial evidence” means not one confessed, no one produced written proof, and no one was willing to rat out anyone else.
I’ve seen this situation since grade school, when the teacher asks “who did it” and all you hear are crickets. But after the Principal is brought in, parents are called, etc., the truth finally comes out.
Barr and Durham know everything that Horowitz knew because they read his report. But they also know a lot more that Horowitz does not.
Now consider the importance of Barr’s statement of disagreement. He clearly knows other evidence exists that will bring out the truth that the DOJ/FBI employees hid from Horowitz.
It will come when Durham’s findings are made public and when it does, even this one claim of the MSM/liberal establishment about predication will be reduced to smoking ash.
And they know it.
