Former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign denied a report on Wednesday that Biden has signaled he would only serve one term in the White House if elected in 2020.
"Lots of chatter out there on this so just want to be crystal clear: this is not a conversation our campaign is having and not something VP Biden is thinking about," Biden's deputy campaign manager and communications director, Kate Bedingfield, said in a tweet.
Politico reported on Wednesday that four people who speak regularly with the former vice president said it was unlikely that he would run for reelection in 2024 if he defeats President Trump in 2020, citing his age.
“If Biden is elected,” an adviser to the campaign told the outlet, “he’s going to be 82 years old in four years and he won’t be running for reelection.”

They figured out that running on the slogan “Joe is too old to serve two terms” was not going to be a winner for Joe.
According to a source of mine, Biden said “All this talk of me serving just one term is malarkey. In fact, I plan to serve at least three terms. And then I’m going to Disney World.”
