You aiming for suspense there?
5. Indiana
4. Nevada
3. North Dakota
2. Idaho
1. Utah
I’ve also heard Nashville and TN are really booming.
“The report points to its top marginal personal and corporate income tax rates”
I thought Nevada didn’t have an income tax.
Okay Californians, here’s your list of states to move to:

I imagine hordes of Californians will be packing and heading off to enjoy the wonders of a ND winter. Not to mention it’s nightlife.
I don’t care if they move to Vegas and learn the Can Can, as long as they stay away from Arizona.
The problem with sunbelt states, you get the worst of the worst coming in looking for the free lunches. And both CA and FL are infested with illegals.
Virginia was on that list on a regular basis before the filth took power in Richmond.
Gee, I thought it was going to include CA and NY, based on Democrat smugness.
“Okay Californians, heres your list of states to move to:”
Problem is, a conservative Californian is still much to liberal and wants to change our state to look like a light version of California.
Interesting list. I’d have to see how they decided what basis constitutes the economic outlook but in Northern Alabama, if you’re into automated manufacturing of any kind (CNC,CAD/CAM,or any support role) and have any kind of decent resume or even no resume you’ll be hired almost on the spot and be working 50+ hours per week at $25-$50 per hour. Been in this trade for 30 years and have never seen it so hot.
None of them have ocean beaches. Much more important than fiscal sanity.
Shhhhhh!
Except that Memphis is as deadly as Detroit was in the Seventies and you cannot go there unarmed.
Thesee states look great until you take a deep dive into their budgets.
Not to worry - “Global Warming” will make Fargo, ND prime Atlantic AND Pacific ocean-front property in a few years!!!
:D
Nah, Californians can stay home, we don’t need anymore Mexicans in Indiana, we’re full up.
“None of them have ocean beaches. “
