Let me propose that Halper got Misfud to drop the email idea on Papadopolus and then arranged for Downer to meet with Papadopolus in order make his report to the FBI.
We have all heard news of Barr and Durham visiting Italy. Have they paid a visit to Downer?
Is this the chain:
Brennan > Halper > Misfud > Papadopolus
And: Brennan > Halper > Downer > FBI
And: Brennan > Halper > Carter Page
There seems to be good reason to believe that Downer may have contrived the meeting with Papadopolus, knowing what he wanted Papadopolus to tell him. Who sent Downer?
FBI were waiting to arrest Papadopolus when he returned to the U.S., evidently expecting him to be carrying $10,000 given to him by yet another player in the drama. Who tipped the FBI? Good citizen Brennan or one of his henchman?
Who sent Vesilnitskaya to Trump Tower? She met with Glenn Simpson who employed Nellie Ohr just before and just after the Trump Tower meeting. How convenient.
I predict that there will be smaller fish who are at great risk if they don't tell what they know. The FBI lawyer who was caught fabricating evidence is one of them. Maybe Misfud is another. Perhaps Downer sees that the jig is up. Foreign governments who shield anyone caught up in this conspiracy are likely to regret any involvement and turn on the participants.
We Freepers may not know how all this will end. But I am personally convinced that it is far from over.

Unlike AG Sessions, who was either willing or dufus trojan, IG Horowitz (limited in scope), was much more “FRONTAL ASSAULT”, and was *appointed by Obama for a reason*!
The initial Horowitz effort and work was specifically designed to cover and absolve the truly damaging anti-American globalist “deep state” of myriad violations of ACTUAL WRITTEN LAW, and to provide the left with further reason to mock and attack any and all on the right, who had clearly recognized and experienced the VERY REAL assault and war on our Constitutional liberties, and our election process itself, *which is still being OVERTLY carried out by the anti-American global socialist, comprising a significant percentage of our unelected government agencies !!
That was ROUND ONE with Horowitz!
While IG Horowitz is limited, his office is is still a powerful watchdog, and can and should identify right and wrong, identify legal and illegal, and refer strictly on those criteria. THE OPPOSITE HAS TAKEN PLACE, and it is purely intentional !
In this round (Round #2), it appears he used his office and much greater resources than he did previously, to strategically create a report, which would by DEFAULT serve as a barrier, to SHIELD and to be a “POLITICAL IMPEDIMENT” against ALL officially seeking actual justice against the blatantly illegal, and horrific COUP attempt, and shield blatant myriad violations of our laws and regulations, and by default to provide a SHIELD for the highly organized and universal left wing globalist attack against our Constitutionally derived Judiciary and Executive branches, ongoing!
Based on what has happened (AGAIN!), Horowitz is clearly and intentionally, serving the left wing globalist effort to COUP out President Trump, as well as serving to shield all involved in destroying our Constitutional “SEPARATION OF POWERS”.
Whether naive and stupid, or proactively serving the greater effort to tear down and destroy our entire system of governance, by his own significant and costly actions, Horowitz’s own effort has defined him as a dangerous political threat to his post, and an enemy of the United States Constitution.
As has been stated by several, Horowitz would use his office to create a report, specifically to cover ((not identify)) blatant and agregious crimes committed, which was intended to provide much needed left wing talking points and political ammunition, designed to bend Legislative Branch opinion to slow down, or stop further investigations, *to negatively impact further opinion against the Justice Department from going forward, and to try and negatively impact the small segment of undecided voters.
This will not happen, at least not yet, as there are truly legitimate high profile investigations ongoing.
But it is pretty clearly now, the goal of Horowitz’s effort.
It won’t happen, but like so many should be taken down, and convicted, for blatant and deliberate ongoing attempt to destroy our entire Constitution, Horowitz should be convicted of the same.
If this would have happened during the time of our founding as a nation, all of these would have rightfully an surely been executed.

Wray was on ABC News today defending the FBI and the FBI's investigation of Trump, saying that "the investigation was opened with appropriate predication and authorization”.
Well, he must gotten that in before AG Barr’s statement.

Horowitz (ie IGs) are basically auditors. They have no power to indict, or compel witnesses. They are internal administrators, and are fairly easy to “ignore” and easy to obstruct.
That being said the Horowitz report actually has a lot more “bad stuff” than I expected.
And the Durham statement is a Bombshell. Yea really, when have we seen an AG make a public statement like that when their investigation is not complete.
Haven’t watched the carnival....it sounds like Horowitz did a magnificent Sgt. Schultz impression.
Horowitz will appear before Senate Judiciary on Wednesday. I imagine the GOP members will concentrate on clarifying ambiguous points and terminology. I am really curious to hear what the Dem members ask. I don’t see that they have anything to work with as far as blunting the impact of the report. But if they don’t then this new stuff will quickly overwhelm the impeachment circus, which is built on nothing at all.
