The Men Who Walked Away

Friday December 6th marks the thirtieth anniversary of the "Montreal Massacre" - a grim day in 1989 when fourteen female students at the École Polytechnique were murdered by a man known to posterity as "Marc Lépine". Much followed from that terrible slaughter, including various useless "gun control" measures - and the formal annual commemorations that, three decades on, are attended by as many eminences as Remembrance Day or Dominion Day. The men present in that classroom are now in their mid-fifties; the women are not. I was far from home that December and was not back in Quebec until Christmas. And so I accepted the official narrative of events - until, that is, a few years later, when I looked into it myself.

At which point I marveled at how the Canadian state had succeeded in so thoroughly imposing a meaning on the slaughter that is more or less the precise opposite of what actually happened. I've written about it over the years, although my comrades in the Canadian media complain every time I do so, as if any questioning of the official fairy tale cannot be permitted. Here's what I said on the thirteenth anniversary, in The National Post of Canada on December 12th 2002:

Looks like there was a distinct lack of masculinity present.

Emasculation is one of the main goals of the deep state. After all, trained police are just minutes away . . . when seconds matter.

The commemoration of the anniversary of the tragic event (I knew someone fairly well at the time who taught one of the women killed and it very much devastated him as you can imagine) is part of a very rotten and corrupt system in Quebec that continues to serve many wealthy and powerful interests both inside and outside that province but that it was also a great deal responsible for the event taking place.

Gamil Gharbi was given a Firearms Acquisition Certificate by a Montreal firearms officer who failed to do the background check on him as required by Canadian law at the time (which would have likely revealed that he had been turned down by the Canadian military’s cadet program for mental instability). The Montreal coroner determined that poor police response time was the main reason for Gharbi being able to achieve the number he killed as police were given inaccurate address information by the Montreal 911 centre and did not enter the building he was actually in until some eight minutes after he took his own life and thirty minutes after he began his rampage.

During what appeared to be a murderous assault, I called the police. It took them over 30 minutes to arrive in downtown Tacoma.

We several men did not intervene because the homeless assailant and victim were buried in a pile of trash infested with used hypodermic needles and bloody rags.

Which never would have happened if not for our turning our backs on Christianity.

“Nor was there a social norm at the École Polytechnique. So the men walked away, and the women died.”

Yeah, well, is that the mens’ fault? They didn’t choose to embrace feminism and abandon our social traditions, that was forced on them.

Women can have chivalry, or they can have feminism, but they can’t have both. Seems to me they have made their choice.

Well stated; goes to the heart of the problem...
