I've officially had it with dogs at the mall

When did it become acceptable for everyone to bring their Stew Pet dogs to the mall?

I just wanted some vegetables and chicken for dinner so I stopped at our mega mall here in San Jose and grabbed my chow at Sarko.

Yum

So, I am sitting there taking my first sip of my Diet Coke and I start to hear the whining of a little dog.

Concerned, I look around and don't see it.

Then this lady walks past me and she has two dinky dogs on a leash. I probably know the breed but, whatever.

The dinky dork dogs start whining and it occurs to me, as some dog from across the food court joined in, that someone is going to hurt if this Stew pet woman doesn't reign in her animals, making the leash a little shorter.

Several people got caught up in the leashes, as there were unaware the dinky dork stewpets had wondered 10 feet away.

Some one could have tripped and got injured and the animals themselves could have been injured as well.

So, I try to ignore this ignoramus of a woman, who must feel she is entitled to force her emptiness on the rest of us through the use of the animals.

Well, not to be out done, a few moments later I feel something hitting my calf and I quickly reach down to swat it away and found another Stew Pet Dinky Dork Dog who just had to get under my legs and the table.

I start to look around for the owner. He came by 30 seconds later and simply apologized an laughingly took the dog to some other place, so it could bother another innocent person.

Nope, a few minutes later I felt something nudging my calf again.

Looking down I again saw that little brat of a Dinky Dork Dog and again his Stew Pet owner gathered him up and apologized.

I almost verbally laid into to him but, wasn't in the mood.

Back to my meal, oh no wait.

Just a few minutes later I hear a rather large bark, seemingly from a full size dog.

I look in the direction of the bark and yep, it was a German Shepard, who was not on leash and began wondering through the crowd of people nearby.

I saw two women nearly trip avoiding this stewpet dog and they were very startled.

That dog was collected by its stewpet owner who apologized.

But, just so everyone could have a good time the 1st idiot stewpet dorky dinky dog owner thought it would a great idea if his non-sentient canine met a much larger non-sentient canine

I dunno maybe he thought they were family and wanted to reunite them.

The lil bass tards laid into each other in some sort of verbal spat I guess.

I don't speak so, I am only going by the growling and fierceness of the barking they were really not happy seeing each other and did not wish to be acquainted.

Anyway, I don't care if you bring your dog to a mall. Actually, that is a lie. I do care but, I will tolerate your lil beastard if he is well behaved, socialized and on a short leash.

rant off/

Yep, well another fellow at Stanford Mall earlier in the day was walking his Dinky Dork of a Dog along the exterior of Bloomingdale’s and the lil fella was stopping every few feet and planting a land mine on the sidewalk.

The Stew Pet owner wasn’t the slightest bit concerned about picking it up either....

And I gotta say on reflection, that was probably what put in a foul mood over the whole dog thing.

Right you are. It’s why I refuse to go to malls, generally avoid crowds period, and generally prefer the company of non-human creatures to human ones.

My choice to live way out here in the woods where, despite being on a hill with a 10+ mile view, I can’t see another house, is not just a happenstance. Lots of critters, though, and they keep me and the missus company just fine.

It’s also a place where I can play loud rock-n-roll and there aren’t any human neighbors to complain. The critters are overall pretty forgiving.

Maybe one of them neck collar bombs like in the 1991 movie “Wedlock” would be awesome.

Dog moves more than 3 feet from you....BOOM!

"Is there something(s) more important than whining about the little things?"

Sorry, having a dog rub up against you once while you're trying to eat might be whining. But to have the same dog come wandering back to do it again within 30 seconds? No body should have to put up with inconsiderate owners who can't keep control of their dogs in public. If they can't handle their dogs, what must their kids be like?

We have taken our pug mix with us to the Sonic drive in and a few other places. She lays down under the table & doesn’t bother anyone.

"Oh, I’ve got a friend who takes his pugs to restaurants all the time in a baby carriage."

LOL! We know what's wrong with your friend, but what's wrong with you that you have a friend who does that? ;-)

suddenly occurs to me :

“What if some dog decides the hamburger or hot dog a child is eating belongs to them?”

That’s gonna end well..

I’m diabetic and if I want soda, it’s got to be diet. And because caffeine stimulates the bladder, I drink only caffeine-free diet Pepsi.

I brought my dog in to the Asian restaurant and never saw him again. The food was excellent that night though

I would much rather be around dogs than people. This woman has some serious anger issues. Get some therapy.

Well, he thought is was okay to cool their lil tummies by rubbing them in cold water, over the kitchen sink.

“Hey, if you dogs can’t be in an air conditioned house and you feel so powerful as to place them over the kitchen sink, which I use every day for food prep, then you really ought to consider putting them down for their own good.

No dog is overheated so much they need to be wet all the time like a friggin dolphin....”

Yeah, it’s not even a diet thing with me.

I just never liked soda with sugar in it.

Can’t remember the exact timing. I was getting concerned maybe they mixed up the order and whamo steamy Gaegogi. Plus I got some cool furry ear muffs that were strikingly familiar... imagine that!

You mean he didn't get them their own pool to cool off in?
