WASHINGTON, D.C.Yesterday after the United States Supreme Court opened and justices began filing in, a half-robot, half-human with the face of Ruth Bader Ginsburg entered wielding an arm cannon, body armor, enhanced retinal targeting, and an integrated jetpack. I AM RUTH BADER GINS-BORG. PLEASE PROCEED, the cybernetic justice said to her colleagues, then reclined in her provided Windsor chair which was instantly crushed under the weight of her new cybernetic body.
Overall, Gins-Borg performed well, never falling asleep or showing any signs of fatigue. She didnt even blink, said Judge Sonya Sotomayor who claims the cyborg justice stared at her for a large portion of the proceedings with one empty, soulless eye. At one point Sonya quietly whispered into the vacant robot womans ear, is that you in there Ruth? What have they done to you?
Some concerns were raised when an abortion bill was brought before the court and Ginsborg began repeatedly shouting, TERMINATE. TERMINATE. TERMINATE! Technicians were brought in and, after a brief reboot, court resumed as usual.
Any concern that Ruth will be resigning her chair can be put to rest at this point, said lead technician Robert Cornell. Shes now running on the most powerful lithium-ion battery in the world, is plated with titanium body armor, runs on an Intel Xeon processor, and can get a strong wifi signal practically anywhere. Ginsborgs technicians believe she will remain on the court centuries after everyone on this Earth is dead and gone.
Ginsburg made history as the second female appointed to the court by Bill Clinton in 1993. Now, as Ruth Bader Gins-Borg, she has made history again as the first United States Supreme Court cyborg justice.
Dalek.
Sbe’d more likely be turned into a Dalek.
I'm...not so sure...
I’D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!!
Like the red eye, hat tip to The Terminator.
At least she whill not fall asleep all the time.
SCOTUS is on recess until December 2nd, at which time they will have sessions almost every day for the next two weeks, before breaking for almost a month. It will be very interesting to see if Ginsburg actually shows for the December sessions or if she will be “working from home” during that time. There is a lot of speculation that her latest hospital visit was something far more serious than a simple “fever and chills”.
I suspect the Left is working overtime to get some kind of “Impeachment” resolution passed (legal or not) ASAP so that when her (imminent) death is finally announced they will be able to claim that the President has to delay naming a replacement due to the legal proceedings against him...
If she now has Robocop’s sense of justice, too, keep her!
Same here. That’s why I posted it here. I’m convinced Ginsberg will go on a life support system if anything turns south with her health. Then, all access will be limited to family. Period.
And they say that the Babylon Bee is satire . . . wanna bet?
If she drops dead (or has dropped dead), well never know. Theyll have her communicating from home or the hospital . . . in other words, they dont want Trump to ever get a chance to put someone else on the Supreme Court.
Can you imagine how much fun thatll be when it happens?
We see things exactly the same.
I can see all that happening just as you describe it.
Hopefully, the president would keep going full steam ahead, and appoint someone anyway. There is no need for any show of
‘reverence’ when Judge Ruth passes.
He will lower the flag for a few days, send Pence to the funeral. VP Pence attends, not the president, so there won’t be any big scene with the bereaved Dems Boo and protest the president during Ginsberg’s funeral. As we all know, they are not above doing that.
“...Ruth Bader Gins-Borg...”
You know, it’s really difficult NOT to chuckle at that...
“Borg”... what a completely appropriate descriptive for the Left.
Now, THAT’S funny. Love the Bee.
