BOSTON A Nerf dart gun, ice cream-scented Nickelodeon slime and a plastic Power Rangers claw are among the toys topping a consumer safety groups list of worst toys for the holidays.
World Against Toys Causing Harm unveiled its annual list Tuesday at a Boston childrens hospital.
A realistic toy machine gun, a pogo trick board, a yeti teddy bear and a pull-along caterpillar toy for infants also made the list.
The Massachusetts nonprofit has been releasing the list for more than 40 years.
It says many of the products present choking, eye and other safety hazards frequently found in poorly designed toys. It also cites the products for having inconsistent and inadequate warnings labels.

Gilbert Chemistry sets were pretty benign unless mixed with common household chemicals LOL
we couldn’t afford chemistry sets so my folks gave me bleach and ammonia and a mixing spoon to play with
Lol! I used order stuff from a chemical supply house. Came in US Mail...no hazmat rules. Feel sorry for the folks who bought our house. A LOT of concentrated hydorchloric and sulfuric acid went dowm that basement sink drain!
I want one!
(Semi-seriously, back in the day, when searching around in the attic, my brother and I discovered an old chemistry set. Somehow, it mystically disappeared shortly thereafter. Can’t imagine why.)
