IG Michael Horowitz Will Testify About FISA Report to Senate on December 11th…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 18 November 2019 | Sundance

Posted on 11/19/2019 3:20:20 AM PST by Erik Latranyi

Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will testify before the Committee on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

The Inspector General will discuss the findings of his investigation into DOJ and FBI’s conduct during the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant process as it relates to the 2016 presidential election.

Considering the end of the principal review phase on Friday November 22nd; and considering the Thanksgiving holiday of November 28th; this likely puts the publication date for the report on/around Monday December 2nd, with testimony the following week.

It is possible the FISA report release, and the 12/11 Horowitz senate testimony will come at the same time the House of Representatives moves the impeachment inquiry into the House Judiciary Committee. According to the Pelosi calendar the last day for the House of Representative is Thursday December 12th.

The result of that trial was ‘guilty’...

Even the ‘witch’ said it ‘was a fair cop’

Theoretically we should see the report sometime before the 11th.

“Mr. Horowitz will be appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Dec. 11, where he will deliver a detailed report of what he found regarding his investigation, along with recommendations as to how to make our judicial and investigative systems better," the South Carolina Republican said.

I don’t know what specifically you are referring to,

Investigations take TIME.

Heck, a neighbor on crack shot his wife in the head twice, rolled her in carpeting and tried to bury her in the back yard. Pretty clear case with lots of evidence.

That was over a year ago and he hasn’t been tried yet.
Why?
Investigations take TIME.

You want a winnable case.

Now if it takes over a year to put together a simple case like my neighborhood, IMAGINE how much is needed in the case against the rats!

The chicken littles on this board need to calm down instead of looking up to the sky, like a turkey and drowning in the rain.

It’s embarrassing

Re: “The chicken littles on this board need to calm down instead of looking up to the sky, like a turkey and drowning in the rain.”

I have no idea what that means.

Trump promised to release the FISA warrants a year ago.

One year later, Trump has done nothing.

Actually, Trump has done worse than nothing.

Trump put Horowitz in charge of the investigation.

LOL - Horowitz was appointed by Barack Obama!

Re: The jury pool probably matters more.

Well, since 96% of the Washington D.C. jury pool voted against Trump, I think we can predict that no Democrat will be convicted of a politically-related crime.

It means...
and I said it clearly, twice for emphasis...

Investigations take TIME.

So do yourself and your blood pressure a favor and knock off the chicken little dance.

The last thing those of us with hope need to hear is a Shirley McClain wannabe in the capsized Poseidon doing her fear mongering sissy fit.

This thread needed a Red Buttons **SMACK** to the face “Good God woman! Get a hold of yourself”

...ok maybe that was the movie “airplane”...WADDEVA...

Thread **SMACK** needed, regardless

Respectfully,

Not handwringing, just a fact. They don't need a reason, they just need a vote. I believe that if Ginsburg croaks, they'll impeach him too.
If they call a vote tomorrow, they'll have enough votes to impeach. There is no drama in the house.
The dems are governed by hate. Constitution be damned.

“This is going to supersede everything the House is doing...”

Why do you think they launched the impeachment “inquiry” first?

Now any attempt to pursue this is going to be painted as “interfering with the impeachment inquiry”, and not the other way around.

I wonder if that is the game plan?

They know there are criminal referrals, so they put a stop to it by creating a fake ‘impeachment’ which stops everything else (for months?)

“Durham is a prosecutor based out of Connecticut, and if he impanels a grand jury and it brings indictments, the defendants will be under the jurisdiction of this 2nd Circuit”

Prosecutors can’t just choose to indict anywhere they want. They must indict in the jurisdiction where the crime was committed.

Well the Patriots on the other side are governed by love of country and the rule of law and will take ruthless action to prevent this scenario. Why do you think people are getting cold feet? Another example is needed.

“That was over a year ago and he hasn’t been tried yet.”

Bet you a dollar he’s been indicted though.

If the government knows of the crime but doesn’t indict, then the clock keeps ticking on the statute of limitations. Now that might not matter with your neighbor, since his crime doesn’t have a statute of limitations, but for federal crimes, most of them only have a five year window to prosecute.

A whole lot of crimes committed in the Obama era are already past that window. Soon enough, crimes committed during the 2016 election season will be past that window as well.

We know about this plot and don’t really give a $%#t about what they are trying. It won’t work because we will overwhelm them with evidence that goes long back before Trump even came on the scene. They are screwed no matter what they do.
