A top national security aide to Vice President Mike Pence told House impeachment investigators that President Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political opponents were “unusual and inappropriate,” and “shed some light on possible other motivations” for the president’s order to freeze military aid to the U.S. ally.

No aide can dictate foreign policy, whether they think it appropriate of not. As a matter of fact, none of these aides or bureaucrats know all of the facts and on balance the president truly does.

Why the hell are all these unelected bureaucrats “listening in” to calls between the leader of the Free World and the president of a foreign country? I doubt anyone other than Harry Hopkins “listened in” to calls between FDR and Churchill or between Eisenhower and Khrushchev. This entire structure of overpaid, often useless bureaucrats needs to be renovated and replaced; I never voted for Jennifer Williams or the creep Vindman or the whistleblower, Eric Ciaramellow. What the hell are they doing making policy?
I certainly have always had doubts about Pence...
Jennifer Williams, who serves as Pence’s special adviser for Europe and Russia, told investigators in early November that she took notes while she listened in on Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from the White House Situation Room, adding that she viewed Trump’s requests for investigations as politically motivated.

An “aide” considers something the president did inappropriate. Who gives a rat’s backside what some ignorant Democrat deep-state dweeb thinks. I think everything that the turd did when he and the wookie were befouling the white hut “inappropriate.”

Objection - Opinion.
Pence’s penchant for having Never Trumpers in prominent staff positions has always undermined his protestations of loyalty to Trump and his agenda.
War is coming.
What the hell does “politically motivated” even mean in this context? Isn’t every decision in a functioning government like ours ultimately a political one?
As long as American citizens are in need, I oppose all foreign aid, so screw Pence & his underlings.
More of the same. I, Mr. or Ms. career bureaucrat felt that in my opinion the President was inappropriate. Why? Cause he was doing things in a way I, Mr. or Ms. career bureaucrat did not like.
Wash, rinse, repeat and report on breathlessly.
If they manage to down Trump, they’d get rid of Pence with even less effort.
Maybe that’s why Nikki Haley is suddenly positioning herself as a Trump ally.
