This is the moment a man was set on fire for disagreeing with pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong on Monday.
The man, who hurled expletives at the black-clad protesters and told them youre all not Chinese, was suddenly engulfed in flames after protesters doused him with a liquid, according to the video and CNN.
The man survived by ripping off his T-shirt and is in critical condition.

New meaning to hot and sour Chinese.
“Does beating the crap out of someone wearing a MAGA cap help or hurt the left?”

When the pro-democracy protestors in HK do that we’ll find out, I guess. Otherwise, you got the wrong thread.
Well...it’s deteriorating and they are already now getting shot by authorities.
They’re unarmed. ...about to hit the fan, doesn’t surprise me.
show me what democracy looks like.
“about to hit the fan, doesnt surprise me.”

Yup. As I mentioned in another thread, I have a good friend who is HK born and raised, I’m telling her it’s a good time to relocate.
I would’ve been gone at least a year before HK was turned over to Beijing in 1997. Barring an overthrow or collapse of the Chinese govt, HK - as they knew it - is over.
The Nazis burned the Reichstag, so as to cast blame on pro communists; China is probably capable of burning one guy so as to blame the pro democracy crowd.
Yeah the police (Communist Chinese Paramilitary Police that have been brought in) and the attackers are one and same.
More communist pigs need to die
Anitfa thugs are taking notes.
“Now I and 10 million other Americans dont give a #### about the cause”
Well I care about their cause and I wish them well.
I was mad for the moment.
I type with emotions first and then think.
I don’t think some of these folks clad in black represent that majority.
I don’t think anybody he was REALLY fighting for the cause of freedom would set someone on fire.
That’s more ISIS’ style.
THE LEFT IS CAPABLE OF DOING THIS PRETENDING TO BE THE PROTESTERS
“I was mad for the moment. I type with emotions first and then think.”
The thing I like about you and have always liked about you is the fact you are honest about your posts. Refreshing.
I also don’t have any sympathy for ISIS style tactics. I can just separate these things. I have sympathy for the democracy movement in Hong Kong in general and total disgust with individuals that try to burn someone alive.
Kung pao Chinaman.
Hot & spicy...

Young people have also always been known to do stupid things, especially when they’re all worked up about something or other. And, if they’ve done it before (as has happened in HK), it’s more likely they’ll do it again. Just the common result of human nature and youth coming together, has nothing to do with geopolitics.
Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the ones who did this were paid double agents...that is, paid by the Chinese government to make the protest look bad and criminal. I could see a bunch of Antifa being happy to do this.
If they don't condemn it and make a concerted effort to stop it, then they are no different than the Commie boot.

I haven’t seen anything from the protestors/protest leaders that suggests it wasn’t one/more of their number responsible for the fire attack. Seems like something they’d want to deny quite quickly if it weren’t their doing.
Thanks.
