This is the moment a man was set on fire for disagreeing with pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong on Monday.
The man, who hurled expletives at the black-clad protesters and told them “you’re all not Chinese,” was suddenly engulfed in flames after protesters doused him with a liquid, according to the video and CNN.
The man survived by ripping off his T-shirt and is in critical condition.

That is not what freedom is about. If the protestors are resorting to that, they don’t deserve freedom - and there is no guarantee it was actually someone from the freedom cause that did it, that it was not a plant to make them look horrible.
Sometimes communists just go up in flames. *Shrug*
Horrible and disgusting. The protesters need to identify the attackers and turn them in.
That’s wrong. Worthy of being shot after that.
Violence and destruction just for the helluvit probably won’t win over a lot of hearts and minds.
I support Hong Kong’s independence, but this tactic is wrong!
One cannot justify reacting to an opposing view by
treating another human being in such a cruel, foul manner.
Those who burned him are no better that the Communist Chinese they are protesting against.

Now I and 10 million other Americans don’t give a #### about the “cause” and that will hurt them badly.
And you’re not hoping for democracy over there with your shrug.
You’re looking to get off on horrific violence like it’s a TV show.

You’re assuming it was actually pro democracy demonstrators. Would you put it past China to do this? They murdered 50 million of their own...
Democracy is not going to happen over there. They are being swallowed by the beast and no one will lift a finger to help them. If they take a few of their traitors with them on their way to bondage, who am I to complain.
Don’t know that I trust the Chinese in general - either/any side.

Too bad no body there has any guns except the government and criminals.
One person just happened to have a cup of flammable liquid to throw at the guy, while inside a building.
And another just happened to have a lighter, which was applied within a second of the guy being doused with the liquid.
The guy survived and knew how to minimize the damage to himself.

I say it was staged by the Communists. Or at least the two guys who set him on fire were Communist sympathizers who had knowledge that this guy was going to make a scene.
