U.S. diplomat Bill Taylor, during his deposition last month, identified the New York Times as the sole source of his claim that President Donald Trump wanted Ukraine to help him get dirt on Joe Biden, transcripts released Wednesday show.
Besides a New York Times article, I have no other information from what the [U.S.] president was thinking, he declared under questioning by Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) during his October 22 deposition, given behind closed doors.
The transcripts of his testimony described the Zeldin-Taylor exchange as follow:
Zeldin: What was the goal of requesting investigations into 2016 election and [Ukrainian company that employed Hunter] Burisma?
Taylor: As I understand it from one of the maybe the article in the New York Times about [Trumps private lawyer] Mr. [Rudy] Giulianis interest in Burisma, in that article, he describes, and I think he quotes Giuliani at some length, that article indicates that Giuliani was interested in getting some information on Vice President Biden that would be useful to Mr.Giulianis client. I think thats what he says. He says hes got one client, and hes useful to the client.
Zeldin: And then its your inference that Mr. Giulianis goal would be the Presidents goal?
Taylor: Yes.
Zeldin: And your source is the New York Times?
Taylor: Yes.
Zeldin: So do you have any other source that the Presidents goal in making this request was anything other than the New York Times?
Taylor: I have not talked to the president. I have no other information from what the President was thinking.

Ah, such a credible source. (Sarc)
NYT said there was no starvation in the Ukraine.
Even awarded that fool the Nobel for it.
What the hell does that mean?
It should be a Felony in and of itself to base your sworn Testimony on FAKE NEWS!!!
I’m reminded of a scene from a movie Michael York was in about Germany after WW!. He was talking to a neighbor who said some outlandish falsity about German Jews. He asked her where she got such lies and she responded matter-of-factly, “From the Volkische Beobachter, of course”. Her excuse was that she was an old lady who had a narrow world view and prob. limited alternative news sources; a former ambassador has no such excuse.
In other words,
“they got nothing”
... AGAIN
The Ministry of Propaganda is the source?
No, merely the conveyance.
His sole source was the NYT?! Are you serious this is ridiculous.
Mind readers at NYT.
Don’t question grammar, punctuation, usage or anything related, all it gets you is derision and abuse. Of course all posts are perfect. /s

This whole impeachment is a joke. All these witnesses are going into an underground bunker to tell democrats about the stories they read on the New York Times.
This is an even more ridiculous example of “circular evidence” than what we saw when the FBI was planting stories in the media and then using them to justify FISA warrants on U.S. citizens.
Jamie Dupree must feel like complete fool he is, here in GA.
Plant a story in the news, and then get someone in politics to corroborate the story?
And then we find out later that the corroboration was from reading the story in the news?

So nyt is the whistleblower...the left is so delusional. They need to be on some kind of psychotic meds. Maybe they can buy them wholesale.
gee, where have we heard before, that NYT was the sole source of info provided, of course, by “unnamed sources” (deep state propagandists) ??? Seems to have been a common theme these past 3 years.
And, of course, this also begs the question: do diplomats not have the phone number of Pompeo or the President? Do they not have the brain matter to want to confirm what they have read? And when they find out that the NYT was incorrect in reporting, do they not have the ability to process that reality? Or are they simply
Devious?
This is an even more ridiculous example of circular evidence than what we saw when the FBI was planting stories in the media and then using them to justify FISA warrants on U.S. citizens.
Did you read The Plot Against the President on Devin Nunes investigation??
