I’m reminded of a scene from a movie Michael York was in about Germany after WW!. He was talking to a neighbor who said some outlandish falsity about German Jews. He asked her where she got such lies and she responded matter-of-factly, “From the Volkische Beobachter, of course”. Her excuse was that she was an old lady who had a narrow world view and prob. limited alternative news sources; a former ambassador has no such excuse.

Yup. In that case, seems like the Trump folks may as well call in Mayflower Van lines and start packing. NOT!
