On Wednesday, both NBCs 3rd Hour Today show and CBS This Morning engaged in climate change hysteria as they touted dire predictions that huge portions of land around the world would be underwater by 2050 and displace hundreds of millions of people. The network hosts all blindly accepted the warnings as true without pointing out that such wild claims have been made for decades without coming to fruition.
And speaking of climate change, on the flip side of that, too much water actually becoming an issue....rising seas could affect way more people than they previously thought....this is an estimate for 2050, which is only 30 years from now, co-host Dylan Dreyer proclaimed early in the 9:00 a.m. ET hour for NBCs Today. It shows that 150 million people are now living on land that will be below high tide by 2050, she hyped.
Worried co-host Sheinelle Jones gasped: Really? Dreyer continued:
...they say southern Vietnam could be totally underwater. Its mostly the research that they did, it doesnt include the United States, but we can assume some of this information for the United States as well. I mean, think about Miami, think about New Orleans, think about areas that are right on the coast. And people love to live by water.
Weatherman and co-host Al Roker chimed in: Well, 60% of our population in this country live along the coast....But look at Vietnam, thats 20 million people who could theoretically be displaced.
Moments later, Roker increased the fearmongering: In fact, just last year, the Department of Defense said that climate change is probably the number one threat to homeland security because so many of our defenses and defense facilities are along coasts.

And in the mid-west >yawn<
Should be able to pick up some beach front property for cheap.
Obama doesn’t care. he purchased some nice place on Martha’s Vineyard. What a joke.
I’m in flyover, but only about 800 ft above sea level
should I jack my house up yet and break out my jon boat?
Give me Bogart and Edward G any day
We picked some up in Northern Nevada a couple miles from the state line.
Well I guess the Obama’s should be scared.
Socialism/Communism lives off of other peoples’ money. It is literally the life blood of their movement. Without it, they whither up and “die on the vine”. With that said, they need trillions of new dollars to usher in their globalist/socialist/communist ambitions....trillions.
There are only a couple of sources for this kind of money: Peoples’ IRAs, 401ks, retirement plans, etc. They know IF they confiscate these, they will be shot, both politically and physically. So until they can get all the guns confiscated, this option is off the table...at least for now.
The other option is the trillions in taxes, fees, regulation costs, etc. that would roll in with the climate change facade. Thus, the push for it. It’s all about the dollars. Follow the money trail. They are literally starving for those dollars. It has really nothing to do with regards to the climate, the children, etc. It has EVERYTHING to do with getting those much-needed life blood funds into their greedy little communist hands. IF they can trick the “unwashed masses” into believing this BS, they can bleed em dry for years to fund their global takeover.
Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.
Nah. The US Army ‘Corpse’ of Engineers will build some levees.
Like their ratings perhaps?
I once saw a map that predicted Cairo, Illinois would one day be on the Gulf of Mexico.
“I cant believe if every inch of ice melted that the oceans would rise maybe a few inches at best.”
Do your homework.
Guess what 50 years later it is still the same.
Yes, I go jogging past a beach that I’ve jogged by for at least 40 years. Nothing has changed, if they were right the jogging path I use would long ago have been underwater.
Another good example—Utsukushima Shrine in Japan, intentionally built on pilings right above the water so it looks like its floating at high tide. The water comes up right where it has always come up. That shrine was built in something like the 12th century.
I’m sure the rich that own waterfront mansions can pay to elevate them.
Climate change, if it exists, would be a problem created by globalists. Let the globalists pay to elevate their own oceanfront mansions.
I suspect given the amount the Obamas paid for their Marthas Vineyard place that they don’t really believe in Al Gore’s new religion.
Wait, by 2050? Who the hell cares, haven’t all these assholes and the angry little girl told us we would all be dead in less than 12 years?
>We picked some up in Northern Nevada a couple miles from the state line.
LOL!
