Labor camps, ecological ruin, shortages of everything from aspirin to toilet paper, and the ever-present risk of that midnight knock on the door -- what's not to love about communism? At least, that's what one out of three Millennials must think, according to a new survey conducted by Victims of Communism and YouGov.
But it gets better... er, worse. Not only did 30% of the 23-38 age cohort have a "favorable" view of communism, 70% said they'd be happy to vote for socialism. What they don't know -- actually, you're gonna need a longer list -- is what Lenin himself said: "The goal of socialism is communism." And, it probably needs to be said, the goal of democratic socialism is socialism. It's a slippery slope from voting yourself the contents of your neighbor's wallet to finding yourself singing "The Internationale" with the other happy forced-laborers in a Siberian goldmine.
My first thought was that these young Americans are merely the victims of a bad education. They probably know nothing of the brutalities of Lenin's secret police, or of the millions of Ukrainians purposely starved to death so that Stalin could have his collectivized farms. Millennials have never been taught that Cambodia's energetic communists killed no less than a quarter of their own people. They might not know about the retributions and "re-education" camps that North Vietnam brought to the South after American forces left. Semi-capitalist China is today a wealthy country, but Millennials know little of the tens of millions of random deaths in Mao's attempt to fully communize the country. They've been taught nothing, at best, about the approximately 100 million deaths attributable directly to communism.
But then I had a second thought.

Cut off Title IV financial aid. World needs ditch diggers, and roofers, and plumbers. Too many kids on the spectrum, sucking up financial aid money at useless universities, being indoctrinated and coming out entitled, ignorant, addled and over sexed.
Those that support it imagine themselves to be at the handle of the whip, not at the receiving end. But in Communist countries, that job is reserved for the very few, and, ultimately, only for the one.
Millennials see Communism / Socialism and think Star Trek.
In 1963 there was entered into the Congressional Record Communism's goals for America. #17 specifically states: Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
This, in addition to getting control of the press, in addition to capturing one (or more) political parties, etc.
It's amazing that they accomplished all they threatened but, even more amazing is that they told us they were going to do it. And we .. did .. nothing.
Well, the good news is the VAST MAJORITY (i.e. 2/3) of Millenials aren’t attracted to Communism.

I used to think the education system and the leftist mindset was just off or a flawed stance. Now, I am leaning to the premise that the ideology those people follow is evil. Its no longer a political view in my book its a voluntary dive into a mindset that is destructive on every level. There is no middle ground with people that think communism in any form is good a platform or path for social stability. Its insanity and evil.

The left hates Trump.
And the left hates us for voting for Trump.
And this is going to get worse. I don’t see a way out of the left and their hatred toward us, other than, against human nature, to NOT hate them back... which is hard to do when you are physically attacked for wearing a MAGA hat...
Help me out here people. How do you stop the hatred? (Not ours. I honestly don’t think that the average Trump voter hates anything.) Spirituality???? We gotta think this through, because the alternative is civil war, which is where I see us spiraling toward.

The State forces you to give one to your neighbor, shoots the neighbor
and forces you to milk them both, giving all milk back to the state.

They should speak to my wife’s sister. She lived through the re-education camps. She’s an American Citizen now and I’ve never seen anyone as critical of communism, socialism and unions as her.
Which clearly demonstrates the failure of the American “education” system. Garbage in, garbage out.
This is an indictment of American Public Education.
Close it down, make it private.
Good question. Perhaps simply by not responding to it. Or responding the way a parent should when a toddler throws a fit? (Fortunately no experience there.)
My question: Is the R party is worth saving? It has been worse than a disgrace over the past few years and also appears to have been compromised.
Perhaps Trump should work quietly across the nation in each state in the next five years to fast track pave the way for a new party. And then announce its debut near the end of his next term.
The timing would be such that the voters would have a fresh start on each state's ballot for the next presidency. It would be a "Contract with America" sort of event.
