A high-ranking Army officer and top White House Ukraine expert is expected to tell House investigators Tuesday that he twice raised objections to his superiors about how President Trump and his administration were interacting with Ukraine out of a sense of duty."
A draft of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman's opening statement says he became worried when outside influencers were spreading a false narrative about Ukraine.
Vindman will testify behind closed doors Tuesday to the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight and Reform committees. He will be the first official to testify who directly witnessed the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky that is at the center of the House's impeachment inquiry.
I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. governments support of Ukraine, Vindman says in his statement. I realized that if Ukraine pursued an investigation into the Bidens and Burisma it would likely be interpreted as a partisan play which would undoubtedly result in Ukraine losing the bipartisan support it has thus far maintained.

Peek under the hood on this guy and I bet you find years of Trump hate.
Darn typos. Oh well. Small phone and sleepy eyes. Good night all.
“I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen I agree.”
DU is calling you. The government asks other governments to provide info on criminal activities all the time.
And when he twice reported to his superiors, what did THEY do? Did they simply send him back into the White House, KNOWING he was functioning as a spy, rather than as a supporting staff member?
Agree. Could be in addition his stunt with the Dems is an attempt to avoid a court martial. Maybe he’s dirty and he knew the jig was up?
I am guessing this LtCol i is facin retirement and is hoping for a swamp job.
Yeah I have a friend who retired a full colonel and veteran of every conflict we had up to Afghanistan. Can’t imagine him causing trouble like this. If the crimes were committed overseas (with US taxpayer money) then you ask the foreign government to assist in the investigation. To do otherwise is called corruption.
Vindman “became worried” that his serial child sex-trafficking would be revealed by Trump’s investigators.
More like Vindman's alleged sex trafficking of preteen girls...

OMG! Ukrainization of US politics continues.
Why won’t “high-rankin officer” GFH? And court martial needs to help him.
Who leaked?
Trump is surrounded by traitors. He needs to fire everyone and start fresh.
well, since the light colonel doesn’t have full knowledge of just what all Ukraine discussions are about, then he should have no government-issued-one-each concerns, especially since his chain-of-command does not include the President reporting to HIM.
My thought exactly. Only the janitor didn’t have a word yet.
Absolutely! My husband served at the Pentagon as an 05 (Lt. Col.), he was given a framed blotter where he sat the coffee filter every day as a going away prank.
Sounds like there are still a lot of Obama butt boys hanging out in the military.
This boy wouldn’t know a “sense of duty” if one bit him on the ass.
Breaking: WE HAVE THE TRANSCRIPT ALREADY!
Can these media morons get any dumber?? https://t.co/LQ15YM8yYX— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) October 29, 2019
This sounds like bullshit. There were apparently several arms deals made with Ukraine over a period of time, depending on the types of weapons needed. However, there was massive corruption by many in the government from old reds to greedy politicians with no particular political venue.
Burisma is just one of many corrupt businesses in Ukraine that need to be investigated/have hearings about because the Russian connections touched everybody including the Bidens.
