Bombshell. The walls are closing in. Donald Trump’s defense has collapsed. The quid pro quo has been proven, the case for impeachment is obvious, and the only question remaining is whether the lickspittle Republicans will finally do their duty and vote to oust this disgraceful President.
That’s more or less been the unanimous chorus in the impeachment press since Tuesday, when State Department envoy to Ukraine William Taylor testified to the House Intelligence Committee. The problem with this narrative is that all we have to rely on is Mr. Taylor’s opening statement and leaks from Democrats.
What we don’t know is how Mr. Taylor responded to questions, or what he knew first-hand versus what he concluded on his own, because like all impeachment witnesses he testified in secret. Chairman Adam Schiff, with the approval of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, refuses to release any witness transcripts.
Certainly Mr. Taylor’s statement doesn’t make Mr. Trump’s Ukraine interventions look good. The former ambassador, handpicked by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, says he accepted the job because he believes in maintaining Ukraine as an ally of the West and out of Vladimir Putin’s Greater Russia orbit.
Mr. Taylor says he slowly discovered what he calls an “irregular” diplomatic process toward Ukraine involving Rudy Giuliani. Over the summer he concluded that this unofficial operation was intended to get Ukraine’s new President Volodymyr Zelensky to pursue a probe into corruption that included the activities of Joe Biden and his son Hunter. He was told, he says, that there was a “quid pro quo” that U.S. aid would be withheld to Ukraine unless Mr. Zelensky made such a statement.
Yet House Republican Lee Zeldin, who was present at Mr. Taylor’s testimony, tweeted Tuesday that “Much of his leaked opening statement collapsed

The testimony is now corrupt.
Whatever it says or does not see does not matter to me.
If the house and senate attempt to proceed with corrupt testimony, that will matter to me.

I, for one, do not accept this secret tribunal, or whatever it is. Put up or shut up. If my government has chosen to be this disrespectful of me, then I am about to be damn disrespectful of them in return.
The problem becomes....How does the House ever vote for Impeachment when only the committee has access to these “inquisistions”.

WSJ is asking the wrong question of course. They are basically saying if Schiff let’s us see Taylor’s testimony all will be fine. Which is of course what Schiff plans to do and WSJ probably knows it. All part of the coup. The fact that Taylor is a Schiff coached Soros stooge will be buried.

I saw his lengthy statement and consider myself incapable of comprehending it.
His conclusions in itself doesn’t have weight. What would have weight is corroboratable evidence that his conclusion is based on.
For any years I looked at the government and thought it odd the things the bureaucracy did. Not so much the elected officials because they were politicians and they always act odd. I have come to the conclusion now that the long serving government workers are the real issue. They are the ones who never really change and continue what was started in the past. They are the ones who resist any effort to change things. Until things are changed with a purge of government workers nothing much will change. The current move to relocate government agencies outside of the Washington DC area shows promise.
I wish to remain anonymous, but I am a witness to both of these accusations.
I’m sure any testimony and evidence they have will be just as damning as what they had with the first coup attempt.

It’s dawned on me that the Democraps in DC are hiding down in their parent’s basement, masturbating to violent fantasies, just like their voting base.
Schiff couldn’t produce any evidence for his oft touted Trump-Russian collusion...this is more of the same....Adam Schiff is a charlatan; anything the man says cannot be believed...Schiff is a fraud also.
