Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is taking the fight to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party establishment after a spat Friday in which the party’s 2016 presidential nominee claimed Gabbard was a Russian puppet. In a video released Sunday on Twitter, Gabbard talks about the origins of her long-simmering feud with Democratic leaders, dating back to her support for the insurgent campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in 2016.
Gabbard resigned from her post within the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in protest at the way then-chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) was treating Sanders. Her concerns were later vindicated by Wikileaks, which released emails showing that party leaders had conspired to help Clinton secure the nomination, forcing Schultz to resign.
In Sunday’s video, Gabbard recalls: “People warned me in 2016 that my endorsement of Bernie Sanders would be the end of my ‘political career.’ They said, ‘Clinton will never forget,’ that ‘she and her rich and powerful friends, her allies in politics and the media, will make sure that you are destroyed.'”

Trust me I know. They’re all over the Twitter threads and Breitbart call-in radio shows, the conservatives who are saying they’re backing Tulsi because Trump is still involved in wars. Maybe they’re seminar callers, who knows.
My wife’s a good example, great looks, total nut case, I am an a$$hole and I told her that. Married me anway, I might have told her I had gobs of money too. I don’t remember that but she swears I did. :)
Wonder how Mr. Gabbard feels about his very hot but very sick wife? Of course she’s the one wearing the trousers.
She might have dirt on Hillary from when she worked for the DNC. Maybe that’s why Hillary perceives her as a threat.
The Democrat Party is imploding from its corruption. Just relax and enjoy the show.
As a former Bernie supporter, she will not hurt Trump.
This. She has guts and some charisma and I will give her that. However, she is really not different from their average candidate on the positions - she is a progressive with a socialist bent. The love affair here on FR is due to her beauty and her sniping at the left wing elites and few seem to have reviewed her policy positions.
With that said..... anyone who lands a body blow like that on the Clinton machine gets a cheer. That was a knee-buckling body shot she landed on Hillary who appears even more bitter if that is possible.
