A Tucson, Arizona, woman shot and killed one home invasion suspect and fatally wounded another after waking to strange noises in the night.
AZ Central reports the incident occurred on Wednesday around 3:45 a.m. Tucson police spokesman Officer Frank Magos indicates that the woman investigated the noise and discovered two men allegedly trying to make entry into her home.
Magos said, She confronted them, she armed herself with a firearm and shots were fired and that info was relayed to us by 911.
Tucson.com reports the identity of the alleged invaders as 18-year-old Corey Teixeira and 18-year-old Ali Mohamed, both of whom were in the backyard when police arrived. Teixeira was pronounced dead at the scene and Mohamed was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The woman was home alone at the time of the incident.

“Her home was specifically targeted in the attempted home invasion, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, Tucson Police Department spokesman. The attempted home invasion appears to have been narcotics related, he said.”
looks like she successfully defended her stash ...
America’s indigenous urban peoples consider criminal activity to be a legitimate career path, and armed victims to be an OSHA violation.

You do realize that their are narcotic medications prescribed by doctors to treat pain. Dont you?
Often times such patients are targeted by criminals. Not saying thats the case here but the lack of an arrest for illegal possession is rather telling.

“...Detectives are executing a search warrant on the home, according to Magos, and the investigation is ongoing...”

Can't find a picture for Ali Mohamed, however, there is a high school football player in Glendale, Az. Bu that is by Phoenix which is up the road a ways (about 113 miles) from Tucson. So since I cannot verify that is the Ali Mohamed mentioned in this article I did not post that picture.
You sure about the pic? No “X” on the eyes. He does look like an ass-pie-ring wrapper though.
You are correct- people with legitimate prescriptions get targeted.
I met a woman who was on heavy-duty pain medications for advanced cancer. The medications allowed her to continue living a somewhat normal life.
She had a “friend” who lived in the same apartment complex. The “friend” had even gone with her to doctor’s appointments so was well aware of what she was taking, and why she was taking it.
The patient went out of town for a weekend to visit family. Her daughter dropped by her apartment while she was gone to pick up something, and found the “friend” in the apartment. She told the daughter a wild tale about someone being “after her” and she was hiding out. The friendship ended immediately. The patient had taken all her medications with her so nothing was stolen.
Things like that happen all the time.
Whats the differences between fatally wounded and shot dead?
