I agree, but I believe President Trump has made great strides in righting those impressions. He has a lot of damage to un-do from 8 years of bammy and his cohorts in crime. The ongoing efforts of the leftists - attempts to undermine a duly elected President - cannot be helping our image either. The corruption of the left is on full display, not just in the US, around the world people are noticing too.

It takes a long time for perception to catch up with reality. While Americans are not “unsteady, adrift, corrupt, or incompetent” we have now seen that our swamp denizens and tentacles thereof around the country are. The entire system went into fibrillations when we elected, over their every effot, a President who is none of these things.
