I suspect what he really understood and was desperately trying to derail is that the people of the US have never before been so aware of the corruption. Corrupt? How about the Podesta family, the Clinton family, the Biden family, the Pelosi family, the Feinstein family, the Kerry family, Kemala Harris, Menendez, diBlasio, and all their handlers, and how did the multi-million Obama family make their money?
I agree, but I believe President Trump has made great strides in righting those impressions. He has a lot of damage to un-do from 8 years of bammy and his cohorts in crime. The ongoing efforts of the leftists - attempts to undermine a duly elected President - cannot be helping our image either. The corruption of the left is on full display, not just in the US, around the world people are noticing too.
