PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) – The mother of a Portland activist killed over the weekend in a crash urges mourners not to leave messages on a building near the crash site and to stop talking publicly about the case. Workers have already removed most of that graffiti.
Laura Kealiher hadn’t talked publicly about her son’s death until she walked out of the democratic party of Oregon’s northeast Portland headquarters on Tuesday afternoon.
Surrounded by graffiti left behind following her son’s death, Laura urged people to stop leaving messages and to stop speculating on the internet about what happened.
Laura said, “I am requesting that no one give statements to the media or make public statements regarding my son’s death. This is to include posting on social media on my behalf, as I want all public statements to stop. They just fuel the rumor mill which everyone close to Sean has had to suffer through.”
In a release Tuesday, Portland police said they still have no motive in Sean Kealiher’s homicide.
Early Saturday morning, police responding to reports of gunfire found an SUV on the sidewalk near the Democratic Party headquarters.
Authorities say they found evidence of gunfire in that SUV.
Officers later learned that friends had already taken Sean to the hospital where he eventually died.
Crimestoppers Tuesday offered a $2,500 reward for information in the case.
The Democratic Party of Oregon’s executive director says party leaders reached out to Laura to see what they could do to help her family.
Democratic Party of Oregon Executive Director Brad Martin Met with Laura and had some other communications.
Laura said, “Some of you may be inclined to continue to leave messages on the Democratic Party of Oregon’s offices after it has been cleaned up. But I am requesting that you refrain.”
Anyone think fore a millisecond the left will honor her request?

Forget it Watson, it’s Portland, Oregon. The reds run this town, not the police, not ICE, not the FBI, not the “law”.
He was run over by an SUV shortly after shots were fired. The SUV then crashed into DNC headquarters where it was abandoned by the occupants.
The fact that the SUV owners haven’t been identified leads me to speculate that it was stolen and possibly the thieves found a gun in it, accidently firing it and startling the driving thief into swerving into the building whilst running over the Antifa leader who really just had very bad timing.
It’s a theory.

Yeah, something is fishy here. They have to know by now who owned that car. I did here that they said the car was not affiliated with any right wing or supremacist groups. How they know that but don’t know the owner/driver is impossible.
I’m thinking attempted car jacking by the antifa thugs.

No disrespect intended to your KKK comparison, but I think Antifa more closely resembles an American version of the Roter Frontkämpferbund, the “Alliance of Red Front-Fighters” who fought Hitler’s Sturmabteilung “Brown Shirts” for control of the streets in Berlin and other German cities.
Pity both sides couldn’t have wiped each other out.
