There is a large number of independent voters sensitive to this topic.
I think Hillary's multiple ethics issues did matter, and probably had a significant effect on swing voters. I think these issues with Biden also matter, significantly. He's been trying to position himself as an ethical politician who is all in for the ‘little guy’. All of this stuff is putting big holes in that narrative. Remember, if 1% of voters switch from one candidate to the other in the general election, that's a 2% swing. Every vote matters.

It is illegal for executive branch employees to do what Joe did.
But, he was not an employee. He was elected.
So the law does not apply to him.

Bribery is a crime. At least it should be investigated and people questioned and bank records looked at.
I WANT to be happy about Biden’s crumbling campaign, but I just can’t quite seem to get there. I am very afraid for the future. I had held out some hope that if Trump loses, at least Biden wouldn’t be as nuts as the others and was happy he was at the forefront only for this reason. I am afraid that we will end up with a radical Democrat ticket. I am so scared Trump will lose. I’m even more terrified of a Warren/Harris victory.

This is an excellent point.
The entire FRONTLINE documentary linked below is worth watching, but go to the segment from 42:28 to 44:00 and see how critical this point was with swing voters -- even while the mainstream media and the more "sophisticated" voters in major cities were so quick to dismiss Trump's fixation on Hillary's corruption as a desperate campaign gimmick.
