The Republican National Committee should offer to be the official sponsor of a weekly Democratic presidential debate. There would be no better advertisement for President Trumps re-election. Every time the Democratic presidential contenders gather together, its a contest between the merely delusional, the vaguely vindictive and the patently absurd.
There are funny moments, like when Andrew Yang risked the ire of the political-correctness police and told us, I am Asian, so I know a lot of doctors. There are substantive moments, like when former Vice President Joe Biden reversed himself on China, apparently now agreeing with Mr. Trump that intellectual-property theft is a serious problem. The debates would make for entertaining television, were the ideas discussed not so dangerous.
John F. Kennedy challenged and inspired the nation by exhorting: Ask not what your country can do for youask what you can do for your country.
edit...
When 60% of Democrats want a nominee even more progressive than President Obama, its fair to say that these are dangerous times. Only Ms. Warren and Mr. Sanders could make the Obama years seem like the good old days. Mr. Trump recently said, Whether you love me or hate me, youve got to vote for me, implying that otherwise the left-wing radicals will destroy the country.
Many voters will be happy to vote for Mr. Trump because they approve of what hes accomplishedcutting taxes, deregulating the economy, unleashing domestic energy production, investing in the military, appointing conservative judges and supporting Israel. There will, however, be voters who are not particularly fond of him but will choose him over the Democrats. Far better to bear four more years of Mr. Trumps mercurial temperament, these voters will rightly conclude, than risk it all on the Democrats radical and destructive policies.

Bobby Jindal is a good egg.
True. His poll numbers rise after every Dem debate.
In the era of the internet and social media, despite an accommodating MSM, it would be easy for the Democrats to steer to the center after veering so far left just to entice the leftist nominating nucleus of their decadent party. People will be endlessly reminded that these people advocated open borders, socialism and America hating globalism.
You are democrats are talking to the few and the proud and the ugly when they say things like:
College educated voters...
Those humans born with a uterus as well as those who feel they
have a become a person feeling they have a uterus ...
Minorities voters feel ....
LGBTQxxx voters voters are found increasingly to be college
educated ....
Inner city voters ....
See my Number 5 post:
You know the democrats are talking to their voters (YOU)
There is nobody sane left in the Dem Party.
Anyone who is not a hard-core ideologue is going to recoil.
(Our problem is long-term, and the younger generation seems to be dominated by hard-core ideologues).
This is why I support thoroughly and enthusiastically Free Speech, especially for the crop of Dem wannabees and the Squad. The more they talk, the scarier it gets.
Don't know that there's enough left of the under-40 crowd to save civilization. It just might be that the sooner the nation breaks up, the better. There will be some memory of survival skills and some people whose bodies and minds haven't been engineered into reliance on The System.
That’s why I’m convinced the real Democrat Candidate has not made his appearance yet.
I think about this a lot. But who could it be? There’s no one with name recognition who is even thinkable. Schumer? One of the one-percenters that no one has even considered like Bennet? Oprah?
Dunno.
My wild-assed guess about the Dark Horse though:
1: Will be male, handsome, eloquent and probably rich (so female voters, the most important Democrat voting bloc, can fantasize about him).
2. Will not have an extensive public record of political statements or actions. (So that Low Information Voters can pretend he supports whatever they hold important.)
3. Probably not a minority (Obama blew that out of the water for the time being).
Name recognition is, literally, a minus - it would mean that they have a public record of political or business statements.
Except when he ignores that he is ineligible and runs for President anyway......
Thanks billorites. It's the national security, it's national sovereignty, it's elected leadership over corrupticrats-for-life, it's the ending of subsidized abortions, it's the witch trials, it's the economy, it's tax reform, it's jobs, and getting fed up with partisan media shills. Pretty sure those have something to do with it.
