Young people are spearheading mental health awareness at the workplace.

About half of millennials and 75 percent of Gen Zers have quit their jobs for mental health reasons, according to a new study conducted by Mind Shares Partners, SAP and Quatrics. It was published in Harvard Business Review.

The American experiment is ending in a generation. The youth are unequipped to work a normal job without breaking down. That spells doom for America's future.

The result of the experiment: even the greatest system of freedom and prosperity ever derived can be destroyed by leftists within 50 years.

This happened to my husband. He had 30 years experience in his field and wanted to conduct business in the correct way. However, the 30-somethings in charge were only interested in the bottom line. He couldn’t wait until his 62nd birthday when he could retire. Unfortunately, he only enjoyed 2 year’s retirement before he died.

It seems they never learned to cope with adversity. Everything gives them “anxiety” which cripples them. They feel “anxiety” is a valid reason to quit adulting.

Hard times make strong men.
Strong men make good times.
Good times make weak men.
Weak men make hard times.

Guess where we are in the cycle?

Bad news. I don’t have enough to retire.
Good news. I won’t have to retire.
Bad news. I won’t be allowed to retire. Someone has to pay for the snowflakes...

I talked to a retailer yesterday. He told me he has trouble keeping employees because once they make enough money, their government benefits like rent, food, childcare, energy, and phone stop entirely. They make more money by sitting on their butts.

It's obvious the big government plan is to get as many people suckling on government so as to demand ever MORE government spending - they can rely FOR votes of those whose lives are literally dependent on government.

Gen Z is not Millennial. Gen Z are the kids of Gen X. Gen Y is Millennial.

Gen Z are the most recent college grads. Millennials are hitting their late 20’s and early thirties now.

The good news (sarcasm) is the Millennials will be hitting their peak power and influence as we are getting ready to die.

That does not make me feel good.

imagine that ... your helicopter parenting didn’t produce an adult able to take care of themselves!

There are certain exceptions to that rule. I worked at the state unemployment office in Iowa for 20 years.

“He was only there about 7 weeks and he asked the boss to take 2 weeks off because he was too stressed.”

I was too smart to go to my father and complain about being stressed or anxious. He would remind me that I wasn’t being shell by Japanese artillery during a banzai attack on Okinawa.

I had no idea about that there.

I’m glad you got out.

Chill out—this was an incredibly bogus study (e.g., LGBTQ overrepresented)

Hmmm. You are right, overrepresnting "LGBTQ+" and then finding excessive levels of mental health issues makes perfect sense but applying that to everyone else does not.

I agree. I have had them quit jobs where I worked. But it wasn’t because they “couldn’t take the stress.” It was because they knew their skills were in demand, and they did not like the crap at work.

We were raised to “suck it up” and “put in the work” to get ahead. Honestly, if they have the right skill set, they can take a month off and fall into a better job.

Recently, I realized I had the cash (not retirement) to do exactly that. Getting called in on Christmas Morning and having to go spend time sitting listening to crazy people on the telephone, was enough for this old guy. And to top it off—I wasn’t getting paid for it (I was salaried.)

My boss walked in after his nice vacation to find a resignation letter on his desk—dated a week earlier. It was hilarious to watch him have to come in and sit there and listen to crazy people when someone called out.

“You don’t want to pay to be staffed appropriately, this is what happens. Happy New Year!”

Never quit a job without an another. Or a plan for another. I have to tell you it was liberating.

My son is Gen Z. He’s an accountant that lives in a trailer overlooking a river on a hemp farm. He spends much of his time shooting at coyotes with a .357 rifle. His friends are largely the same, many military. They like money much more than their older sibs.

Wow, A mental illness that only impairs their ability to work. Mmmmm!

But not their ability to drive, sign service contracts, parent or vote...

What a scam...
I bet some of these people will apply for and get disability benefits. If not already receiving them...

DO NOT SUPPORT HIM.

KICK HIM OUT.

MAKE HIM SEE WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE REALLY ‘STRESSED OUT’...................

Done that. He moved to another state. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) he has friends who are enabling him.
