Former George W. Bush chief of staff endorses Trump impeachment inquiry

Andrew Card, who served as White House chief of staff during the George W. Bush administration, on Monday expressed support for House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry of President Trump, saying that "clearly lines have been crossed."

"I do think an impeachment inquiry is warranted," Card, who led Bush's White House team between 2001 and 2006, said on MSNBC while addressing revelations about Trump's alleged efforts to enlist Ukraine's help in his 2020 reelection campaign.

Card cautioned that he wasn't sure if Trump's actions qualified as an "impeachable offense" and implored members of Congress to let the investigation play out before reaching a conclusion on the matter.

You are absolutely dead on correct. GWB spouting off to rescue his own family’s role in the Deep State profit machine, being uncovered. It’s now official.

BTW Andrew Card was blamed HUGELY for the poor response to Katrina in New Orleans... Card and the FEMA Director Brown, both.

This website used to love them all. I knew there were some anti Bush people here back when I joined in 2001 but they were a small group at best. I backed W all they way like most here. The first chink in the Bush clan for me came when the matriarch gratuitously attacked Sarah Palin. Since then its been a steady downhill slide for all of them. None of this from any of them surprises me anymore. They are now traitors to our side. I wish it weren’t so. They could have just kept mum like W did throughout the entire 0 years but no now they have to yap. Dead to me and most of this website.

That family and their fellow travelers never stop making fools of themselves.

Andrew Card has about as much political common sense as a road-kill skunk, and this is an issue of law. It’s pretty cut and dried.

This forum was never more wrong than about George W. Bush

Including myself but I never engaged in the bush worship that took place here

Yes I realize that last sentence is wide open

There was always the argument that the other side was worse but I think a few of us knew just how compromised and politically correct and despicable the Republican establishment truly is

This is not about political parties anymore and some creepers still don’t grasp that

I look back at how some posters like T-Paine And 0WK and sneakypete and others were ridiculed by the mob here for questioning Bush and his neocon ways

Men were we ever suckers

The “R” in front of a name means very little. A few are patriots, but many are worse then Dems in that they fly a false flag.

Pretty much when a political critter comes out against Trump I assume they are corrupt and afraid of being exposed, or at the least are afraid he’ll make them work for a living.

Bastards.

I think my first clue was when the Iraq museum was looted and we decided it wasn't our problem -one of the great archaeological collections of the world, part of the world heritage but it wasn't our duty to preserve it. It showed that this whole thing had nothing to do with propagating and perpetuating civilized values. Then I discovered that our national strategy started and ended with removing Sadam and we had not thought one step further. Then we eradicated the entire Iraqi professional and middle class through Cheney's deba'athification program and we were then surprised not only that liberal democracy did not spring forth from the wreckage, but in fact that same deba'athified middle class who were now cast into hopelessness joined the insurgency.

What cucks we all were. It's like discovering not only did your home team not win the expected championship, not only they hadn't even practiced any of the plays, but they didn't even have a playbook after the first kick.

Oh, Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz and the other neo-cons, oh and Condi baby - what a bunch of useless smug self-satisfied incompetent frauds. Went to all the right schools, told daddy how great he was and then squandered the wealth they inherited. It's always the way. Wastrels.

George W. Bush has the worst political instincts in the world.

I knew he was gonna burn us when he said “I’ve earned political capital. And now I’m going to spend some of it.”

Not an exact quote but that’s basically what he said.

Good friends with the Clinton gang and the Obama gang.

I’ll never forget how he crashed the economy in his 2nd term. I have never recovered. A few other FReepers haven’t either.

So W can talk a long walk off a short pier for all I care.

And so can Jeb! the RINO tool.
