President Donald Trump's staunchest allies voiced outrage Monday after he suddenly declared that U.S. troops would allow Turkey to attack Syrian Kurds who have fought as U.S. allies for years to tamp down the Islamic State.
The president later threatened to destroy the economy of Turkey, a NATO member, if it goes too far against the Kurds. But that did little to mollify concerns overseas or in Congress after Trump announced that the U.S. would withdraw troops and get them out of the way of Turkish forces.
Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said it would be "disgraceful if we sat idly by while Turkey slaughters the Kurds, as public reports suggest that Turkish leader Erdogan explicitly told President Trump he intends to do. Kurds risked their lives — for many years — to fight alongside us."

honestly feel sorry for them. BUT, as some point these people have got to stand on their own, because we cant continue to pay for their protection with US taxpayer dollars forever.

I understand why Cruz nearly lost in Texas. He loves to use our soldiers lives to defend Islam for some unknown reason.
I just watched the latest installment on YT of Bill Still on this subject.
He airs the COMPLETE president Trump Tweet Series on this subject. Edifying. I have seen many posts of these tweets but, it turns out”SURPRISE!” not one of the posts I have seen is a COMPLETE series.
Bill Still’s video shows the entire Tweet Series and it is very telling as to why so many outlets did not show the entire series as sent out by President Trump.
Trump won because he’s anti-war. He will win again because he’s anti-war.
If Ted knew what the Kurds have done to Christian Chaldeans & Assyrians .... Oh wait, he probably does and still supports them.

Is that kind of language necessary in a civil discussion? There are clearly folks with concerns about whatever the course of action is and both sides have valid concerns. Expressing those concerns doesn’t mean one wants endless war and it doesn’t call for impolite or rude language between Freepers.
Give the ISIS prisoners to the Syrian govt. Problem solved.
Trump promised to destroy ISIS & then leave Syria.
