Former Secretary of State and retired four-star U.S. Army General Colin Powell described foreign policy under President Donald Trump as in shambles, in an interview with CNNs Fareed Zakaria Sunday.
I was a Republican who was Ronald Reagans National Security Advisor. I was a Republican who worked for George Herbert Walker Bush, and worked for George W. Bush. Im a moderate Republican who believes that we should have strong foreign policy, strong defense policy, that we have to look out for our people, and we ought to work hard to making sure were one country and one team, Powell declared. And so, on that basis, I call myself a Republican.
After characterizing himself, Powell moved on to condemn the Republican party for enabling Trump.
The Republican Party has got to get a grip on itself. Right now, Republican leaders and members of the Congress, in both the Senate and in the House, are holding back because theyre terrified of what will happen to any one of them if they speak out, he said. Will they lose a primary? I dont know why thats such a disaster, but will they lose a primary?

Thank you for your service, Mr. Powell, but you've become absurd. Surely you can't be this ignorant. http://t.co/FHwMuvdmEG— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) December 9, 2013

The guy that F’d up, listened to junk INTEL, and got us into Iraq is giving us advice? Oh....mmmkay....
And there lies the problem. Moderate Republicans are toxic to the best interests of this country, as any Leftists are.
Tl:Dr version; “Trump isn’t a global socialist.”
The sun has set on this breed of Republican. There’s nothing much Reagan-esque about it, despite what he says.
They’re very angry that the voters they used to count on finally held them accountable for their approach and have rejected them.
It’s about time.
What else could we expect from an affirmative action quisling?
First step in to the “Republican” primary waters to challenge our President?
Knock me over with a feather
Colon Bowel sucks.
Mmmm. If Colon Pow’l doesn’t like the way things are going, Trump must be doing a really fine job. Excellent.
Says the undocumented Democrat.
Four star general of the Deep State.
