Mitt Romney not for the first time has reversed field when it comes to Donald Trump. This time, his change of heart is a good thing.
The former Massachusetts governor, now a first-term US senator from Utah, has emerged as the most prominent Congressional Republican to question Trumps dealings with Ukraine, implicitly supporting an impeachment inquiry.
Being Mitt, his comments have been carefully calibrated: he is deeply troubled rather than outraged; he has called on other members of his party to search their hearts and do whats right rather than supporting a particular course of action.
But even those steps stand in contrast to other Republicans, whose first instinct has been to circle the wagons around a president they clearly fear.

Romney BEGAN Romneycare/ObamaCARE and
then he tanked the economy and judiciary in Mass,
and for some reason that made him very attractive to Utah. ???
Is anyone surprised that the carpetbagging globalist political whore is up to his backstabbing antics?
Never
Oh he came hat in hand for lunch when he thought he might get a Cabinet Post
Now that McCain is in hell, Romney seems to have replaced him as the biggest weasel and most unlikeable GOP senator
Bwaahahhaaa! You should be “deeply troubled.”
Your advisor has already been outed as sitting on the board of Burisma. Remember Burisma?
You know, Hunter Biden, Chris Heinz and Mafioso kid Bulger?
Now we have Paul Pelosi, Jr. who gave a business speech in Ukraine in ‘17 and pics of Nancy with arms dealer Igor Pasternak.
Then we have the same Pasternak hosting an event to raise money for Adam Schiff for Congress in ‘13.
Hmmm...Yet Trumo has a problem in the Ukraine? LOL Bring it. I dare you.
Ha, I like Boskone Globe better.

Romney wants Trump out of the way so that he (Romney) can run for President in 2020. Duh!
” Think Mitt is jealous and showing it just like Hillary!”
Mittens will die sour because he will NEVER live in the White House. Simple as that.
I can't imagine her @sshole uncle is helping matters on that front.
Why do Mormons hate Trump?
Or is just seem that way?
Ronna McDaniel was the head of the RNC when the House changed dramatically to Dem majority. I see her as a failure and wonder why she kept her job. Is she just part of the ruling class which seeks to maintain its power?
He hopes if Trump is removed that he becomes VP.
Then they can work on getting rid of Pence...
The streets of San Francisco are covered with Romney.
Outside of the liberal media, does anyone give a rat’s behind what Mittens thinks?
Raising money is more important to them than winning elections.
I have some third-hand knowledge that Mittens and Flakey are . . .
Who does he listen to - who does he view on TeeVee?
Is his wife affected by TDS?
His kids?
Granted, Romney is a scummy, self-centered opportunist who is never going to change his stripes, so WE all know what he is and what to expect from him...it is just kind of funny to see a Leftist rag like the Globe say "...Once again, Mitt Romney seems to be souring on Donald Trump..." as if he were ever, or would be anything other than sour.
This picture explains it quite well from that time long ago when Romney might have harbored fantasies about a job in the administration, inveigling Trump for a job...
(I love the pained look on Romney's face, and the gleeful, impish look on Trump's face...:)
Don't know about Mormons in general but perhaps Mitt's magic underwear has squeezed his mental and physical gonads so much that he's turned into the equivalent of a jealous little adolescent girl.
I love how he’s called the most prominent Congressional Republican. Last I checked, he’s a Junior Senator serving his first term eve in Congress. Prior to that he had a 4 year stint as a governor a decade ago. What the hell makes him so “Prominent”?
Most everyone here,,knows Romney very well.
