Three sources confirm to CNN that Kurt Volker has resigned from his State Department post. First broken by the State Press, Arizona State Universitys school paper:
I'm curious, was it Volker's embassy that denied the Ukrainian prosecutor a visa to come to the U.S. and present his Biden evidence to the DOJ?
“Praying that everything will work for good and in favor of President Trump.”
My prayer EVERY DAY! AMEN! :)
I don’t know what to make of Rudy being out there. The other night when he went full middle-school on Hahn, yelling at him, calling him a liar and a moron and telling him to shut up.....not that he wasn’t right about Hahn, but jeepers creepers. I was pretty sure after that the president would pull him in for awhile, as he seems to have done in the past.
Perhaps, however, the president wants Rudy out there for a reason. Maybe he wanted this Volker character brought to the surface. I’m not sure what to think. I didn’t see Laura’s show last night - what did Volker text to Rudy?
Rudy has seemed very erratic the last couple years. I do not question his loyalty but do his cognitive state and the wisdom of giving such interviews.
He worked for the CIA and was a McCain and Bush supporter
If thats true, another example of a bad hire by Trump. Why did he let the neocons staff his administration?
Please go learn what asymmetric warfare is before you make conclusions like this.
Go read about asymmetric warfare and meditate what it is defined as.
Finding out who true friends are tonight.Janet is a trusted source.
I wasn’t aware that announcing that was a necessity.
I understand. But why was HE asked to go to Ukraine?
Another loser from the McStain side of the aisle.
I’m not jumping for this clickbait until I see this confirmed by a formal story from a credible news source. How many people believed the DNI director was resigning story before it was debunked by the DNI director.
Volker’s involvement was asking Giuliani to talk with Ukrainian representatives about evidence they had on the corruption regarding the Steele dossier and its fabrication by Ukrainian agents and Steele. As the President’s personal attorney this information would allow him to defend his client and refute claims in the Mueller report when it was released. The Ukrainians had tried for years to give this documentation to our FBI but they refused to accept it probably because it showed that the justification for their FISA warrant was fraudulent.
On the other hand, if Volker was actually trying to setup Giuliani in a trap rather than trying to get around the FBI coverup he may be a bad actor. Stay tuned.
I think the pool of non-swamp people with the experience needed for those jobs is really really small.
The swamp sucks them in, bribes them and then doesn’t let go. The D.C. Mafia.
"Using their own tactics against them! How unseemly! Giuliani should know better! We must hold ourselves to a higher standard!"
Screw that.
Way to flush the toilet, Rudy!
Hope you he a big dump first.
Pursuing the genesis of the Russia collusion hoax?
Something else to keep in mind that as the special envoy to Ukraine, this guy may have had no official government responsibilities. My understanding is that this is basically a volunteer function and is not a Federal employee.
Saw it on CNN and MSN also https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/kurt-volker-trumps-envoy-for-ukraine-resigns/ar-AAHWYwV
It’s very entertaing, though. Rudy is an old man. At last, he can speak his mind, even if he has to override rude Laura and the others.
Go, Rudy!
Volker’s position was was a voluntary position.
I am waiting for Amb. to the EU Gordon Sondland to also resign.
