Elizabeth Warren is on the way to securing the Democrat nomination, and the ensuing general election battle will be a re-run of Little Bighorn except, ironically, Sitting Bolshevik will be Custer. Trump’s going to drag her kicking and screaming and nagging, always nagging, down the trail of tears until that glorious November night when Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and maybe Minnesota all express their reservations over sending this tiresome scold to the White Wigwam in Washington.

The good news is that of all the Democratic candidates still in the race, Warren probably has the worst appeal among core Democrat groups like blacks and Hispanics. If Warren is the nominee, I would not be shocked to see Trump get close to 50% of the black male vote.
That means Romney wants to do a Ross Perot and hand the election to a Dem. He’s bastard enough to do it.

I think the Dems will play Warren, Biden, Bernie, and Kamala off each other and get to a brokered convention. Then put Hillary in with only two months to campaign.

"Smoke signals" is a good analogy, because in 2015 the smoke and mirrors were suggesting that Jeb Bush had it all locked up due to his securing of the majority of Big Donors, drying up the funding for anybody else.
This was simply a "process" assumption that didn't take into account his low-energy no-conflict style, his soft attitudes on immigration, and "Bush fatigue."
