The wife of Shark Tank star Kevin OLeary has been charged in connection with the fatal boat crash last month on a Canadian lake, according to reports.
Linda OLeary, 56, was charged with careless operation of a vessel stemming from the Aug. 24 collision on Lake Joseph in Ontario that killed two passengers of another vessel, CTV News reported on Tuesday.
She was allegedly piloting the boat when it slammed into a larger, 13-person vessel returning to a lake cottage just before midnight.
A New York man who was driving the other boat was also charged in connection with the incident. The driver, Richard Ruh, was charged with failing to exhibit a navigation light, the outlet reported.

If they can make driverless cars, they should be able to make pilotless boats! What are you asking for a piece of your business?
We think this every Saturday when we’re on the lake. The amount of alcohol people consume while beached is very high and at the end of the day they get in their boats, drive 15 minutes to the dock where they then get in their trucks to drive home!
No navigation lights.
Not sure where the, Alcohol + Boating thing, comes into play, unless there’s more information that O’Leary’s wife had blood drawn and she tested positive. She was given field tests at the scene, apparently, and passed.
The $1,000,000 question’s are: Was O’Leary actually driving and left the scene to put his wife at the wheel? Will he let his wife do time?
He/She crashed into tho other boat. But other boat didn’t have running lights on. Both at fault. Let the courts figure it out.
They already stated alcohol was not involved.
Where did you get that information from? There is nothing in the article that indicates that ALCOHOL was involved in the accident......
Stop it with your nonsense
Kevin O’Leary (a.k.a Mr. Wonderful) is known for his worship of money and his catch phrase, “You’re dead to me”.
But are about to bite him in the a$$.
Pilotless houseboats would introduce a whole new lifestyle in the San Francisco Bay Area. Someone could wake up in the morning and be delivered to their job in San Francisco, wake up in wine country on Saturday, and wake up in Oakland on Sunday to replenish their crack supply. There would be no rent, land expense, or property taxes. When relocating to a job in Los Angeles or San Diego they could take their house with them.
Better jump on it! That sounds pretty awesome!
