I’m not sure how what she suggested will help: hiring a prostitute is already illegal in most of the country, as far as I know.
And me making suggestions that are never going to ever happen is a waste of time.
No cruel and unusual punishment is spelled out as clearly as the 2nd amendment.
Just put them in prison and let everyone know what they’re in there for.
“Yo, Bubba—fresh meat on the block!”
To put this in perspective, there are 11.6 million people in Ohio.
“Of the 104 arrested, there were 24 male suspects (ranging in age from 20 to 59) accused of attempting unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning, 43 women accused of selling sex, 36 men accused of trying to buy sex, and one man accused of promoting prostitution.”
104 people were arrested.
That is 11.6m / 104 = 0.00091% of the population impacted.
Bad people do bad things, but this is really down in the noise.
Until they form a parade, demand rights, and capture the hearts of the MSM.
lol
The firing squad is not cruel or unusual.
And it’s not an incredible deterrent. It will just get rid of them.
Nothing painful in dying instantly. Nothing to really fear.
Buyers can be a cause but they are not a source.
Noooo! I loved that band! Not Sting!
I wonder how much this particular aweful crime has increased since the advent of the internet, social media and smartphones. I think it has probably increased dramatically since porn became ubiquitous and free.

BOOM!
And no real children were actually involved in any of the arrests....
Ping
Porn has always been a factor.
Viagra is new, and probably a bigger factor.
Were it up to me, I would never have allowed it on the market.
Well, we don’t know whether or not that is true at all.
Sometimes an allert parent notifies the authorities when their child encounters someone attempting to groom them. Detectives then try to round up whomever it was when they run operations like this.
From the article:
He says it starts with online chats between the men, and who they believe to be underage boys and girls.
It’s actually an officer posing as a juvenile.
“The reality that they were operating in, is that there absolutely was a child at the other end of that device, and that’s who they were coming to see.”
And he says each of the 24 men followed through.
The rest of the arrests were for adult on adult crimes.
FYI
The new thing in porn is most people being able to see anything anytime anywhere for as long as they want almost free if they want to do so. That has never happened before.

This smells like a bait and switch. It dangles ‘think about the children’ and subtly moves on to what looks like a general prostitution ban with no reference to age.
Also it calls for accelerating current practice among feminist activists to get law enforcement to shift blame and start to exclusively punish only men for prostitution. Which is funny because some of the same people will turn right around and insist that only the purveyors of drugs should be punished.
Regardless of how you feel about prostitution, (I personally feel we have no business going on a crusade with feminists against it with all the other things we celebrate) I would recommend against helping groups which use such shady tactics
And before that The Pill, circa 1961: It made fornication “safe.” That was the real start of the so-called Sexual Revolution.
