He's awful plump for a vegetarian. He could do with a haircut, too. I know just the place, right over by the meat pie shop...

“But now society accepts smoking is harmful and totally unnecessary and so we legislated against it. The same could happen with eating meat.”
Sure, and while you’re Nanny Stating everything to death, Michael, why don’t you pull down a few of your British hero statues that might make some of the “Asians” feel uncomfortable?

This article is like a bad movie about a dystopian future where everything one says or does is controlled by the government. Enforcing a law against eating meat - how will it be done? Will there be air sniffers installed on every block to detect a steak in a broiler? Will there be anit-meat Wardens who, like their predecessors during the Blitz, patrol the neighborhood trying to catch someone enjoying a burger? Will a there be a trade in illegal meat products, and will it require a new law enforcement agency to root out those who would damage our ecosystems by raising cattle? The possibilities are endless but all lead to the same conclusion -an overreaching government controlling everything.

More like real life.
I know someone who used to live in Viet Nam.
They were allowed one chicken a week.
And there were folks checking people’s trash to see if there were too many bones in there...
