Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took the lead in a new Des Moines Register Iowa poll on Saturday night, marking the first time the Massachusetts Senator led both former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the first caucus state in the poll.
According to the new survey, Warren narrowly leads at 22 percent, with Biden following at 20 and Sanders at 11 percent. No other candidate reached double digits but South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg followed at 9 percent, with Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) at 6 percent to round out the top five. Additionally, the poll found that Warren was drawing the support of 32 percent of those who say that they caucused for Sanders in 2016 and that she narrowly led him among voters under age 35.
“It’s the first time we’ve had someone other than Joe Biden at the top of the leader board,” J. Ann Selzer, president of Selzer & Co., which conducted the poll, said.
The poll comes as Sanders’ campaign has shaken up its staff in two early voting states.
The Independent from Vermont remains at or near the top of most primary polls and no other candidate has matched his fundraising and grassroots organization capacity. But even with his staying power, he has been increasingly eclipsed in the eyes of opponents by Warren (D-MA) as the main progressive force in the race.

This is incredible. This woman has been proved to be a LIAR; she advocates policies which are as just plain stupid as they are unsustainable; her policies would certainly cause a great deal of harm to America, bankrupting us by paying for everything for everyone, legally here or not. She is a political hack who sways whatever way she perceives the wind blows. She has about as much business being President as my little cat Zizu. And frankly, I think Zizu has more than a few IQ points on Liar-watha.
Arguably, no Republican had a chance at defeating Obama in 2008. But that's my point. Had the GOP told the truth about Obama to the American people rather than being swept off their feet whenever Obama read from a Teleprompter, he either would have been weakened enough where he would have lost in 2012, or he would have governed as a moderate instead of being the divisive a-hole that he was.
I am telling you: Warren has no chance and will lose even more than Hillary did. There's nothing "Grandmotherly" about her. She's a Marxist thug and Trump is going to beautifully exploit that.

I have a theory about leftist Iowa politics. I’m just across the river in Illinois, So I might as well live there. Iowa, like downstate Illinois is very rural. Little cable TV and some satellite. This leaves it easy prey for PBS and NPR. I even watch some myself if there is something worth watching on, but there is the constant subliminal, and sometimes blatent Marxist indoctrination.

I’m calling it right now she will be a formidable candidate and I really think Trump is going to have a difficult time putting her away! She’ll have all the women’s vote or the majority, The lazy college students who will be herded like cattle into voting for a grade, Hollywood media the anti-trump POS RINOS AND THE MOST DANGEROUS...FRUAD...etc. . A Monumental climb! One reason Trump won 2016 was because half of the population didn’t care for Hillary or really thought Trump was going to lose so they stayed home believing all the media Hilary hype of a sure win... this time around they’re going to have them out in Droves to vote! I fear it’s going to b a hard fought up battle!! God help us if the fake Indian should win!! Scary socialist crap!!!
