On his nationally syndicated radio talk show The Mark Levin Show on Monday, host Mark Levin warned that if something serious isnt done, Iran will take this attack as a first step.
I will say this, if something isnt done, something serious and significant isnt done respecting Iran, theyre going to take this as a first step, stated Mark Levin. Im just telling you. Theyre going to take this as a first step. So, well see what happens.
Mark Levins comments came after a Saudi Arabian oil facility was attacked by cruise missiles and drones, FOX News reported, that were launched from Iranian soil, and after Iran seized control of another oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz.
Below is a transcript, in pertinent part, of Mark Levins remarks from his show on Monday:
The Iranians are not going away.
So what should the president do? Short of military action and Im not saying we should be short of military action, but if we are what should we do? Should we lift our sanctions? No. There are five areas of waivers that the secretary of states office has argued should not be lifted, that is, they shouldnt be imposed on Iran. Will the secretary of state change his mind now? I hope. There needs to be a lot of pressure on Iran.
I read an article the other day I dont know if its right or not that Irans pension funds are about to collapse, including with the military. Isnt that a good thing? Wouldnt that be great?
So why would we give them a $15 billion bridge loan?
Remember the gentleman who called last week? He had been from Eastern Europe, I believe. No, he was from France, I think originally, now an American. He said, Do you remember how Khomeini would up in Iran? Because the French government released him. The French make very, very stupid foreign policy decisions, which is why theyre a second- and third-tier country. I dont think we need to be taking advice from Macron, whos got 27 percent popularity in France, and has no background on anything, no background on anything.
So the Iranians are pirates on the open sea. They took another oil tanker yesterday.
If you go on the internet you wont read this in many newspapers because the media are the media youll see theyre kidnapping British and Australians and others left and right now.
This attack on Saudi Arabia should grab your attention because of its accuracy, the devastation and the technology involved.
And as I told you before, maybe Rand Paul is not aware of this, the fifth fleet is harbored in Bahrain. Should we withdraw? Should we pull back? How about with China? They took over the South China Sea with their fake islands. Should we withdraw, pull back? Should we take our subs off of the Korean peninsula, remove them too? Where should we go? Where should we go? Just keep pulling back and back and back and let these various threats and enemies grow and grow and grow?
Rand Paul asked a question over the weekend: Why are we in Afghanistan? Is this guy an idiot? Does anybody know why we went into Afghanistan? Anybody? Everybody knows why we went into Afghanistan. Because the Taliban gave safe harbor to Al Qaeda and Bin Laden, and if we take all of our troops out of Afghanistan, what do you think is going to happen?
I mean, how many more times do we have to lose Americans, heroes, blood to go back and fight the same battles, go back and fight over the same territory? Its At one point we had over 140,000 troops in Afghanistan. Were down to 14,000. We have about anywhere from 1,500 to 2,200 special forces in Syria. We have minimal presence in Iraq.
Were not an invading army. Were not going to war with these countries. Were trying to make sure were not attacked yes, from 7,000 miles away that were not attacked. Were not colonialists. Were not conquerors.
I will say this, if something isnt done, something serious and significant isnt done respecting Iran, theyre going to take this as a first step. Im just telling you. Theyre going to take this as a first step. So, well see what happens.
But right now theyre controlling events not the world theyre controlling events.
Is this a serious question? Iran is responsible for the deaths of more Americans since the 70’s than any other country. That rogue nation is responsible for American deaths for decades.
This incident did not attack us or our people but, as Levin states if nothing is done after this their belligerence will only grow.
The head in the sand no military action unless our homeland is threatened is just as stupid as W’s nation building.
Oil is a worldwide commodity. Extreme price volatility affects every nation. Every industry. Every family and person on earth.
To allow Iran to affect this worldwide commodity without any response is a sign of pathetic weakness and shortsightedness.
There will be a retaliation for their actions whether you or Rand Paul like it or not. It has been a long time coming and retaliation is needed and should be devastating.
IF the Saudis want to do something about it, well be happy to sell them the weapons and ammo. Let the Moslems kill each other.
If DJT is half the negotiator I think he is we might end up owning some of the oil and some of the oilfield.
That might be the price for saving them from Iran.
We get permanent bases and part ownership of the whole shebang. The Saudis might go along since having a US base would deter attacks.
And yes, I remember Khobar Towers. These bases would be much better defended.
People like to listen to conflict. Lars Larsen puts nay-Sayers at the front of the line.
How many of the American deaths you cite at Irans hands were solely the result of U.S. meddling in places all over the globe? Even Reagan bailed out of Lebanon when the sh!t hit the fan there ... because he knew there was no upside to that disaster.
Please stop that globalist drivel.
I think President Trump usually tells us AFTER the fact.
Not our circus...not our monkeys.
The Saudis should take care of it themselves.
Keep in mind Islam has been around for 14 centuries.
Americans were popular in middle-east UNTIL...we stationed military there. Learn from mistakes. There is not enough time to correct them if we keep making the same mistakes over and over. When Aramco was installed in Saudi Arabia, there were no Islamic terrorists attacking Americans.
Time to MAGA and, if necessary, nuke 'em into the Stone Age.
Topple Koppel and be "America Held Hostage" no more.
Donald Trump was elected by a lot of people who have been outraged at the idea of the U.S. military serving as mercenaries for Islamic royal families. Hell, thats probably the single biggest reason why Jeb Bush was less popular than a child molester during the 2016 primaries.
Americans were popular in Iran until CIA dislodged Musadegh.
And throughout that time they have feared our freedom and fought our faith.
NO MORE!
The Saudi’s spend $68 billion/year on arms...they can defend themselves.
We keep sanctions/oil embargoes in place against Iran and let them stew in their own student uprising juices as their economy tanks. (Maybe a little CIA push once in awhile).
Before we worry about preventing moslems from killing moslems, we need to worry about the moslem invasion that has already occurred in the U.S. We need to begin by taking action to dismantle all the jihad training and supply centers and simultaneously deport all moslems currently in the U.S. Their strategies, plans and actions clearly make them a clear and present danger..
For example, we focused for 70-years on the perceived threat that the Soviets would be bombing or invading us... Never happened... Didn't have to happen... Communism is so firmly rooted in the U.S. now that any real hope of restoring the Constitutional Republic is dim... We ignored them when they specifically told us what their long-term strategy was...
Now we have a far more dangerous enemy: moslems and their quran-driven long-term strategies...
Bottom line: We, as a Nation, need lots of bloody moslem vs. moslem wars, keeping them fully occupied while we clean up our own house...
GHWB had the right idea in the first Gulf War. He even left a bloodied Sadamm in place to keep Iran in check. GWB’s wars of occupation have been disasters.
Was Thomas Jefferson a Globalist spouting Globalist drivel? Should we disband the USMC? From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli we will fight our countries battles in the air on land and sea.
Is not Iran responsible for more American deaths since the 70’s than any other country?
Is not oil a worldwide commodity whose prices affect everyone in every country no matter how much any one country produces?
Head in the sand Isolationism is just as stupid and dangerous as W’s nation building.
Not to make LIGHT (i.e. not to make fun)
That’s what they are doing. The Houthi’s in Yemen are allied with Iran. The problem is that we are the only country with any real military deterrent to Iran’s desire to close the Straits of Hormuz-through which the vast majority of the world’s oil still flows, hence the large coalition of countries when Iraq invaded Kuwait. I despise both countries and wish they would both disappear, but it’s more complicated than that.
Please list the nuclear nations that wouldn't.
