Republican Dan Bishop defeated Democrat Dan McCready in a close special election in North Carolinas ninth congressional district Tuesday night.
Bishop, a conservative Republican currently serving in the North Carolina State Senate, based his campaign on strong support for the Trump agenda. The president, for his part, strongly supported Bishop. On Monday, the night before the election, Trump appeared with Bishop at a boisterous rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina in the conservative eastern part of the district.
At the rally, Trump heavily criticized McCready for supporting the socialist agenda of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Squad.

I know you’re just joshing, FRiend. Your post certainly made me grin.
But seriously, this should inspire us all to work harder in the future. Victory is sweet, but victory is never permanent.
The democrats are going to have to cheat big time to hang on to the majority in the House, not to mention removing Trump from the WH. I surmise they already have plans to do exactly that.

...Poor people dont turn out for special elections because they cant afford to do it...
I don’t know if i’m allowed to post that way but at least a few will get to see it :)
Just like they can’t afford free ID cards?
Trump doing MEGA!
Making Elections Great Again.
Democrats will be more eager to impeach Trump now. Can’t allow him to have any more victories.
“Something like that....”

We extended our lead from 2018. Very good progress.
LOL
“POOR” people “can’t afford to vote for special elections” ? Why...do they have to PAY to be allowed to vote now, in N.C.? LOL
Too close.
Democrats always squeak ahead in close elections.
Sorry about my pessimism, but they WILL pull their typical corrupt tricks.
:)
“...Victory is sweet, but victory is never permanent....”
Absolutely spot-on.
I define victory as them laying on the ground crushed, broken, crying, peeing down their legs, throwing tantrums, holding their breath for an hour (with a little help from the tactical application of duct tape) and ultimately tossed on the trash heap of history’s failed ideologies.
So by THAT definition, yes, we have to keep working towards that goal.
A man has to have goals, after all... :^)
But along the way, let’s NEVER forget to laugh in their faces and present them with good old fashioned giant American Middle Finger whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Laughter has ALWAYS been an American tradition. And we’re Americans. They’re.... well, something much, much less.
Maybe Beto will say that rich people live closer to the polls than poor people.

Aww, those poor delusional little snowflakes...
I wonder.. are those “Poor people dont turn out for special elections” Xirs, Zes, Its, non-binary gender intersectional WTFs, or what???
Just curious...
I really didn't know what was going to happen in this district. So Dan's victory is extra sweet! :-)
So are the Dems going to take it to court to overthrow the results?
Probably not - there is only one year left in this term.
It's a miracle!...It's a miracle!...
