it is scary how many people will vote for the crap that these Democrats are touting.

It sure is. I live in The People's Republik of Connecticut. Not everyone here is a hard-core left-wing marxist (although there are a lot of 'em).

Yet these (often nice) people with functioning brains don't get it. They see the "D" next to the candidate's name and assume he/she is the same kind of "D" that JFK was. They buy the "Republicans are heartless / racist / homophobe / will take your Social Security and Medicare away, etc." garbage the media spews non-stop every damn time.
