NC-9 Special Election Discussion
Bishop (R) vs McCready (D)
K-Thanks.
Here's a very simple way to look at it. McCready has won Mec. eday by 1200, with 27/50 precincts. So he could get another 1200 if he kept it up.
But he's down >2500, and can fall further elsewhere as election day votes come from rural areas.
So he needs much better than this.— Nate Cohn (@Nate_Cohn) September 11, 2019
Bishop almost 50% in Robeson
Being this close...I’m sure who ever loses that side will claim the other side cheated.
Here’s a clue: Which ever side dumps the most votes right at the end is the one that cheated most.
Let's put it this way, if McCready pulls out a win at this point, it will look very suspicious indeed.
I love chocolate chip cookies! :-)
Assuming 63k total votes in Mecklenburg, D could pick up another 2600 net votes there.
With R already ahead by 2500 and will pick up more votes in rural areas, I don’t think D can win.
Close, but an R win.
Dan Bishop 81,995 50.5%
Dan McCready 79,437 48.9
162,398 votes, 81% reporting (170 of 210 precincts)

Hey Sam do you think for 5 minutes these BASTARDS care about how suspicious anything looks!!! In CA. in 2018 they were STILL turning seats 9 days after the election with vote harvesting!!!
McCready’s dead. +3000 for Bishop and Meck 38/50 counted.
Congrats Bishop. Not even close enough for a recount.
The buzz is probably right. I refreshed the results, and Bishop is doing better in Mecklenberg, now at 42.98%. Harris finished with 44.38% last time.
Bishop went from 40% in Meck to 43% so he is GAINING votes there.
It’s Over.
BISHOP WINS.
Big Mecklenburg drop.
Looking good, DVR set to record CNN and MSNuthinButCommies, just to watch the looks on their faces.
38/50 in for Mecklenberg now.
DDHQ about to call for Bishop.
Bishop might reach 50% with the remaining 2 Robeson districts.
