2020 Democratic presidential primary candidate Beto ORouke (D-Texas) claimed that living next to ones workplace was a luxury reserved for the wealthy.
ORourke who lost a Senate bid in Texas to Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) during the 2018 midterm elections made the claim in a tweet published Monday, where he also claimed that it was a persons right to live near their job.
Living close to work shouldnt be a luxury for the rich, the former congressman wrote. Its a right for everyone.

Funny Headline. But made up headlines often result in articles getting zotted.

Having married a multi millionaire heiress I’ll wager that this policy won’t apply to people like Beta...kinda like the Rat Party Congress exempting themselves from Obamacare.

He's going to have to change a lot of zoning laws.
BTW, zoning is a major cause of traffic congestion. You can't live where you work or shop. Have to drive.

Next.
Eating three meals (or two, whatever) is a luxury.
Robert Francis has a plan for that, too.

Um...the rich don't have jobs. They create jobs, and have the perfect right to create them wherever they live.
Further proof that the Democrat definition of "rich" means anybody earning between 40 and 100K per year. That's where the income is that they want so desperately to tax.

The current mayor of Sacramento, Darrell “The Commie Prick” Steinberg said the same thing several years ago when he was trying to force the city of Folsom to develope more Section 8 housing.

I guess being president shouldn’t be a luxury and a privilege so everyone should get their day to be president.

Sounds like he wants to go back to “the company town” way of doing things. Except this time it will be controlled by the government.
“If elected, I promise everyone a job at $20 an hour with free company paid housing. And free bus fare for your days off.”
If you want a car you'll have to pay $500/month in carbon taxes.
Groceries at the company store at 3x normal.
Community fees of $500 for home and yard maintenance, waste recycling, etc.
