Todd Palin appears to have filed for divorce from former Alaska governor and one-time vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, his wife of 31 years.
In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”
The divorce filing uses initials rather than full names, but identifies the couple’s marriage date and the birth date of their only child who is a minor, Trig Palin. The filing asks for joint legal custody of the child.

That is really sad - but given that the rats set out to put them through hell and literally destroy them it’s amazing they lasted this long.

They would be wise to remember that when one points their finger, three fingers point back at them.
She appears all those things you said - plus she gives off quite a “I’m in control here” vibe. Todd has always seemed like a real easy going guy (which is what you would expect married to the former type of personality). Still, people do grow apart, and living apart for long periods (due to her national schedule the past decade, things can “get old”). I wish them both well.
If Todd can’t live with her, I volunteer!
Truly the last thing I expected to read today. Prayers for both of them and their family. So very sad.
