She appears all those things you said - plus she gives off quite a “I’m in control here” vibe. Todd has always seemed like a real easy going guy (which is what you would expect married to the former type of personality). Still, people do grow apart, and living apart for long periods (due to her national schedule the past decade, things can “get old”). I wish them both well.

It cannot be easy for a guy to be the husband of a politician, especially one who came into the limelight as Sarah Palin did. And yes, men and women are different.

I still maintain that Bill Clinton was the happiest man in America, when he found out Hillary lost.

Todd does seem to be an easy going guy, BUT he is also very much a man with a lot of testosterone- evidenced by his lifestyle and choices of recreation. Those type of men are easy going, but never bow under to be controlled by anyone and especially not a woman. They are easy going, and usually very nice, polite, and soft spoken. People mistake them for someone who would roll with anything but not the case. And when they have had enough, they are done.

I have lived all my life with and around rugged, outdoor men that are very much like Todd. They are a different sort of creature, very strong but don't feel the need to flex their muscles or anything else for others.

I really like Sarah Palin, but she is a strong personality and many women get pretty tough to live with as they get older.
