Mental health issue. This is the problem no one wants to address.

It’s hard to solve. In america you can’t put people away because they are crazy. But if we don’t then we live with the risk that they will do crazy shit.

But if you do lock up crazy people for being crazy then it’s just a matter of time before the gov’t declares you crazy if you disagree with their agenda.

Sounds like a real sicko.

But, with relatively few externally readable symptoms. Trespassing, traffic.

How to screen people like this, how to figure the balance in restricting their freedoms (and therefore that of many others), versus waiting for the cleanup is a big problem, to which I don't have a happy answer.

One is for everyone to be armed, enforce politeness, and accept some unfortunate collateral damage.

Another is the Singapore solution--touch a weapon and you are caned close to death. But then, you have to have tremendous trust in your government.

He was living off the Grid, just like the Unibomber was.

He could have been living that way in case a Terminator from the Future came back to find him. You never know.

In other words, he needed to be in a mental institution. But instead, the commies shut those down and emptied them. Because of that, we now have homelessness, shootings, and such.

I guess the FBI was too busy investigating Trump.

He was relatively recently divorced with nine children.

His father and mother got divorced when he was 3.

Lots of stress in his life.

Some people, in a large population, are on the edge. Add lots of media to make rampage shooters famous, combined with a rage at society because life has gone very bad for him...

And you get a blow-up.

The media coverage, trying to drive a wedge between Trump and the NRA, plus their desire for a huge blow to the Second Amendment, has been off the charts.

This has given us the larger than usual cluster of mass murder. The media has been pushing the “assault weapon” and AR-15 has the favored tool of mass killers, so we get more of them.

““This did not happen because he was fired. He showed up to work enraged,””

A statement like that is cause not to trust official statements. No one with a lick of sense would believe that the firing had nothing to do with his temperament. It could have very well have been what pushed him over the edge. No matter how angry he was before he was fired.

That being said- It in no way places any blame on his employer. The blame is 100% on the sicko who pulled the trigger.

My questions are, and will continue to be...

1. Was the creep doing any narcs at the time? Strung out? (Fentanyl, oxycocone, methamphetamine, cocaine, etc.)

2. Did he have any narcs in his car, on his person, in his residence?

3. Any history of SSRI's (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety drugs)?

4. Was he ever a psych patient?

5. And, how many gun laws did he break? (I wager it was several.)

.

Just so many of these incidents, like Odessa, Midland, Parkland, El Paso, Dayton, etc., could have easily been prevented....not by gun law legislation...but, by Police, FBI, School Adminstration, etc., proactive action against mentally insane & criminal nutcases!!! Democrat Party scum, vermin and low life have not one clue, butt wipes that they all are!!!

Just remember that all these Low Life Democrats politically control the cities and ghettos like Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco that have dozens of murders and thousands of woundings every week!!! WHY??? Go figure....it’s not gun control that stops these slaughters...it’s treating the mentally insane, jailing the criminals, thugs, human traffic dregs & drug dealers, etc. Trumpie has his finger on the real culprits....the dregs and low lifes of society...period!!!

“and the company called 911 after the firing but that Ator was gone by the time police showed up.”

OK, so...why? That is the next question to be answered re: the “motivation”. All that’s stated here is “he was enraged” coming to work. What did he actually do to make them call police?

He was nuts and I’m surprised he even had a job.

He was a long haul truck driver and I think the FBI should be checking for unsolved killings (particularly of women) along his route. He seemed to hate his women neighbors particularly and would threaten them, but of course that may just be because it was easier to threaten a woman than a man.

"... Combs said the place where Ator lived was “a strange residence” and that the condition reflected “what his mental state was going into this.” He didn’t elaborate...."

..... The use of the term "Strange Residence" .... Tells me that his place of domicile contained a scenario and items they didn't expect to find. I wonder what they found? I wonder what he was involved with?

While I understand good people work at the FBI and they try to do the right thing, can we conclude that after Comey and others have been charge of the FBI, that a culture of decay has taken hold and that the entire organization has become...well...ineffective?

Just saying...the facts seems to point to this conclusion.
