The Deep State Will Face Justice Soon! Right?
American Thinker ^ | Aug. 31, 2019 | Peggy Ryan

"The check's in the mail" is a promise that payment's been sent even if it hasn't. It's a stalling tactic to avoid pressure from creditors, from those expecting payment.

That's the scam our government is running on the American people today, a ruse to tamp down expectations of justice. We all know that the FBI used an unverifiable document, the Steele dossier, to get a warrant to spy on Trump using the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). This dossier was used to start a counterintelligence operation to plant spies in Trump's campaign, to get a special counsel to impeach the president.

That depends on the meaning of “Justice”.
If Justice means only IG reports that shame the criminals,
it will not be enough.
There must be indictments, regardless of trial outcomes.

This past Monday on WMAL, Joe DiGenova flat out stated there would NOT be any indictments/prosecutions.

Clearly, “BushieBarr” has his orders from Deep State.

"The Comey memo crapshow is just a minor part of the big picture and Comey has deliberately created legal ambiguity. Bringing charges on the memos is a bit risky."

Please people, get real. What is the risk? Comey will walk? He's on a freakin book took and worth tens of millions.

Folks I have said this over and over and it's proven to be true and always will be. There is NEVER any 3D chess games going on behind the scenes in politics. Politics is what you see is what you get, always has been always will be. It looks like Barr and the DOJ are avoiding prosecution because that's exactly what is happening and nothing else.

Clearly, “BushieBarr” has his orders from Deep State.

While talking to Howie Carr the other day DiGenova repeatedly said things like "even if they're not convicted it would be great to force them to pay huge sums to a lawyer...".

Which,I assume, was his way of saying that there's no way that a DC jury would ever vote to convict.

People like DiGenova and Bongino are already backing off, telling you there will be no prosecutions of any of these people. They are simply going to be “exposed” as if that’s enough. The Deep State is still completely in charge.

You can’t beat an entrenched bureaucracy.

Oh yes you can.

All it takes are numbers, courage and the will to win.

Very good article by Peggy Ryan. How long will she be able to write a dissenting view? Thanks for posting.

I think we are at a point where the President can no longer wash his hands of DOJ lack of prosecution. If Comey et al walk I’m not sure the President will be reelected in 2020. You can put blame on Sessions and Barr and Rosenstein and Wray only for so long. Ultimately all of those people work directly for the President and it’s his responsibility to make sure the laws of the land are followed.

Ultimately, all four of the people you mention are confirmed by the useless US Senate. Recall POTUS floated the idea of removing Sessions and was immediately publicly threatened by GOP Senators not to do that. Recall the GOP Senate recently blocking Trump’s MAGA picks for Fed and DNI.

The GOP uses the coup to hamstring POTUS and stall the MAGA agenda. It couldn’t be more obvious.

In large part because the GOP slow walked the investigation to keep POTUS hamstrung. That allowed the Dems and their media wing to gaslight the public on this subject for YEARS.

The time to move on the criminal Democrats was 2017 while they were still off balance from Trump’s victory. Not now. Too late. There is no good outcome possible now.

Yep. Everybody is spinning furiously now to keep GOP voter morale up for November 2020. There is a great danger it will collapse in the face of the GOP enabled coup.

Q is a mind and citizen control mechanism. It takes some of the most motivated and intelligent people, and sends them scurrying off to find a treasure that will never be found.

Was it Claire Wolfe who famously wrote some of the best commentary of America, and how close we are too needing CW 2?

Guess what? It is not getting close to the time

It is not time.

This is what it looks like when it has happened at midnight, and we are waking up in the morning........18 years later.

Thanks for your reasoned posts in this thread. Very educational for those of us who are just trying to understand "justice" as it is actually practiced. Note that Wray got in a nice unnecessary, misleading statement about "white supremacists" in his testimony WASHINGTON – FBI Director Christopher Wray told lawmakers Tuesday that the bureau has recorded about 100 arrests of domestic terrorism suspects in the past nine months and that most investigations of that kind involve some form of white supremacy – though an FBI spokeswoman later clarified the percentage is smaller.. He probably thinks his circle of friends are much smarter than the rest of us.

Sean Hannity is himself the mouthpiece for the Deep State. The apologist for the lack of action.

He is the orchestra maestro directing the music, as Lady Liberty is ushered out of the theater of the absurd.

I’m not giving up hope that justice will be done. Trump knows it’s a life or death situation. They win and next time will make this time look like child’s play.

Confirmed by the Senate doesn’t change anything. All of these people are chosen by and report directly to the President. He can fire any or all of them at any moment for any reason or no reason. The President is ultimately responsible.

Whether or not Comey could have been convicted as a result of his leaking of classified information and/or other crimes should not have deterred the DOJ from charging him.

Convicting a Democrat in DC would be as hard as convicting a redneck lyncher in Jim Crow states of the past, but there was a solution to that problem. Change of venue.

Optimism is good, keeps hope alive, even if there is no hope, it is better than despair.
