Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's account on his own platform appeared to have been hacked Friday afternoon as his page began posting a stream of racist and vile messages.
"We're aware that @jack was compromised and investigating what happened," an official Twitter corporate account tweeted.
A Twitter spokesman did not immediately respond when asked for comment.
Dorsey's account on Friday afternoon began posting racial slurs and other odd messages. He retweeted one user who wrote, "nazi germany did nothing wrong."
"Follow @taytaylov3r or Twitter hq is blowing up," read another of the tweets posted on Friday.
Dorsey has more than 4.2 million followers.

Maybe the real Jack just got to the liquor a bit early and had keyboard access.
Or maybe the Twit CEO of Twitter simply wants to make it seem easy to hack anyone’s account to make it harder for Twitter users to claim their accounts were blocked without a good reason. After all, Twitter will be able to produce Tweets like this for any user.
I just do not trust Jack Dempsey after watching his testimony before the House and his testimony before the Senate.
