Eric Reid's dangerous hit to Ben Watson's head sends Patriots TE to locker room

FOXBORO -- Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid says he wasn't trying to hurt Benjamin Watson when he delivered a late hit to the head of the New England Patriots tight end in the first quarter of Thursday night's preseason matchup. Regardless of intent, the hit still knocked Watson out of the game.

Eric Reid, the kneeling turd, with a blatant cheap shot on strong conservative Benjamin Watson, one of the classiest and most intelligent players in the NFL. Watson tweeted to Eric Reid earlier in the week, "Yes, Eric Reid, you are wrong! You know the work many of us including Malcolm Jenkins have done. No one entity owns this movement. We are all a continuation of the generations who fought before us. We need each other." I was infuriated watching this last night. Watson has a concussion.

I think someone will get Reid. Watson, even as a conservative, is incredible respected in the league and outside of the league. The same can’t be said for Reid.

For those who don’t know, Watson scored a 48 on the Wonderlic intelligence test, which is the third-highest ever recorded by an NFL player and equates to an IQ in the 150s. He’s spoken at March for Life, CPAC (I know, I know ;)) and is going to be a significant player in conservative politics moving forward.

I hear you. I'm from a different era. When I played ball, if an opponent took a cheap shot at my teammate, he was targeted the rest of the game. Didn't matter black or white.
