That would be fine, if his real concern was federal spending and he would intend to go to the carpet to hugely cut federal spending. But, maybe all he means by his concern about debt and deficits is that he would not support tax cuts and he would support tax increases to lower the deficits - which is the only deficit reduction action the Dims know.

The term RINO has become perverted on Free Republic to mean anyone that doesn’t agree with what amount to conservative views by many who actually resist being called Republicans.
Romney is definitely a RINO. He was the liberal governor of Massachuttes. He never seemed to actually exhibit essentially Republican values. He pretended to be Republican to be elected in Massachuttes
He is the definition of RINO and is now admitting that fact

Of course Mittens is part of the Republican Establishment, what we call GOPe around here. The good news is that after a couple of years of hunting down RINOs they are becoming a bit thin on the ground. But they are still around and doing damage. Maverick? When did Mittens turn anti-globalist?
