My best musical education came from when me and my gramps took apart two old jukeboxes with hundreds of 45’s from the 50’ and 60’s. We jammed into the wee hours. One of my favorites now days is: Uptown Funk on YouTube.

I still have that album and a few others by the Osmonds. I seem to recall that Merrill was a pretty good singer. I need to dig those record out and listen to them again.

I never forgave Manilow for turning one of Chopin’s smallest miniatures into an 8 minute marathon of bathos.

My wife nominates “A Horse with No Name”
Another ‘America’ song that came to mind after she said that was “Tin Man”.
I think both were written while on powerful intoxicants.

Anything by the Osmonds, Partridge Family, or Bay City Rollers. Throw in KISS.
